Dancing in the rain

I bit my lip in hesitation at the scene displayed before my very eyes. The heavy rain pouring down from the dark-grey clouds, soaking everything that's inhabiting the place below their reign. I took a deep breath before reconsidering my choice to follow Sora's 'humble' invitation.

"Sora? Are you sure this is going to be a good idea?" I pointed at the diorama from the window.

He gazed at the rain for a while before turning towards me and grinning with his usual reassuring grin.

"Of course it is!" He closed his eyes.

"L-Let's not, I-I mean considering that this is my first time playing as well, it sounds a bit scary plus, we'll go against the rules!" I felt my heart pumping at the thought of defying the rules.

"Oh don't worry (Y/N)! People said that once you played in the rain, you'll feel at ease and your problems just seemed to," he made a 'swish' voice along with a flailing arm gestures, "disappear into thin air," he took my wrist.

"Besides, it's my first time as well," he opened the back-door and led me out there.

I gasped at his very dense confession and bravery, but I gotta say, this actually convinced me to follow him out there.

"I can't believe this, but knowing you..." I looked at him unbelievingly, "I actually believed in you," I slowly felt myself forming what seems like a smile.

He dragged me to the harsh world by the wrist, and soon enough I left my comfort zone almost immediately. The feeling of strong droplets of water hitting and soaking me like an army fighting for his nation greeted my senses. I felt very delightful and light, as if all my burdens are carried away by those tiny armies, knocking me off from reality, and taking me to a whole new world. I laughed, twirled, skipped around, and felt the breeze all throughout the session. And Sora was there as well, copying everything I did, he seemed to be enjoying the rain as much as I did.

"Enjoying the rain that much now huh miss?" he wiggled his eyebrows in an attempt to emphasize his statement.

"Oh shut up you! But you're right- the people who you heard from are right! It does feel amazing and at ease once you dance in the rain. Like no more cares in the world," I laughed like there's no tomorrow.

"Heh, glad you noticed," he grinned looking up once more.

We enjoyed our little time a bit more, before we were abruptly stopped and scolded by two furious looking mom and Aunt Aerith. They looked at us with a very disapproving frown painted on their elegant faces.
In which we, in turn, responded with an innocent and friendly smile.

"Did you two know what time is it right now?" Mom asked with a dark disapproving expression painted all over her face.

"Uhm... pressumably around eight?" I asked whilst estimating the time in the process.

"It's nine, 30 minutes before your preparation mission," Aunt Aerith emphasized the numbers.

"WHAT?"
