Special Chapter: The wedding

I can't remember when you weren't there.
When I didn't care for anyone but you.
I swear, we've been through everything there is.

I am slowly walking towards him...to the man who promised an eternity with me.

He is wearing a classic tuxedo, with his hair neatly fixed, his eyes misty, and his bestman standing beside him.

I smile sweetly at him.

I take my time walking towards him. Inch by inch. Step by step.

My eyes are misty too. I can't help but reminisce our life together for the past six years.

It was a whirlwind romance, it was full of ups and downs. Akala ko nga ay bibitaw na siya, ngunit nagpasalamat ako na nakakapit pa rin siya. Matibay yata ang helmet niya sa ulo.

I can't help but remember the very first time I laid eyes on him. He was damn crazy pushing Sean, the man I owe my life, away from me.

He is possesive, alright. I guess I will love that side of him forever.

We've been through a lot together. Even after we had Alexandros, pinuno pa rin ng pagsubok ang aming relasyon.

I remember the day I woke up after giving birth. I felt strange. Hindi ko maipaliwanag ang uhaw na nararamdaman ko sa aking lalamunan. I knew I had changed. I felt it right after I opened my eyes. It scared the hell out of me. I didn't know what to do.

I looked around me and saw familiar faces looking at me strangely. Ipinalibot ko ang aking mga mata hanggang sa tumigil iyon sa isang pares ng mga matang kilalang-kilala ko.

His golden eyes were looking intently  at me. With all the faces that was crowding that room, it was his face where I found myself again. He was my salvation. I found hope in him. I know I was alive, again. I know that I was breathing again, well, I was breathing heavily that time...my chest ached also. It was him, all because of him. He made me feel so alive.

Florrence...

Nabigla pa ako nang marinig ko ang boses niya sa aking isipan. He saw the shock on my face, kaya inulit-ulit niyang tinawag ang pangalan ko sa aking isipan para lamang masigurong naririnig ko siya...that's when I found out I can mindlink with him. Bringing him much, much closer to me. As if we weren't close enough.

I had loved the life we've made.
And I am so glad I stayed, right here with you, through the years.

I remember how we two fought because of Alexandros. Takot pa akong hawakan si Alexandros nung panahong iyon. Takot ako na baka mabali ko ang mga buto niya. I broke vases, cups, glasses. Even our sliding door was broken. Kaya natural lamang na matakot ako sa paghawak sa sanggol pa lamang na Alexandros noon.

I didn't know how to control my strength before. Takot akong hawakan ang lahat ng bagay. But he never left me nor shouted at me. He had been patient with me in fact.

He thought me how to properly control my strength. He was with me when I thirst for animal blood, he even let me drank from him one time when we were on Vlamia to visit Florencio, my foster father.

He was the greatest man I ever met...kaya nanliit ako sa sarili ko nang sobra.

That's when I started using the name my biological mother gave me. Nanibago ang lahat sa akin. Maging siya ay nabigla sa malaki kong pagbabago. I didn't asked for his help anymore. I didn't want to look weak in his eyes.
