Horace's jaw dropped. Will was shocked. Horace didn't know what to think.
"What do you mean he's dead?" basically yelled Horace.
'Im sorry, Horace." said Gilan finally.
"Any idea why he was assassinated? " asked Horace sadly.
"When Gilan tracked him down and killed him, he had a sheet on him. Something to do with Oberjarl Erak, king duncan... and you." Halt pointed at Will slowly.
Will stepped back.
"What was the paper?" Will asked. Gilan held a paper out to him.
"A hit list. Each name has a specific price. The emperor of Nihon Ja- 1200 royals." Will took the paper and read it.
"To anyone willing to do the deed.
Emperor of Nihon Ja- 1200 Royals.
Oberjarl Erak- 1500 Royals.
Baron Arald- 3000 Royals
King Duncan- 5000 Royals.
Will Treaty and company- 25000 Royals."
Will looked up at his friends.
"What does it mean, and company?" he asked Halt. He sighed.
"That means they are coming after all of us. You, me, Horace, Alyss, Evanlyn, and possibly Gilan."
