Holly's POV
(2 Days Later)

"Okay let's go." Hotch said to us and then pointed at me. "Stay here." I nodded and let my eyes wonder towards the door, following the team as they all left with vests on. I bit down on my lip while watching them leave. I knew that they would come back but there was always a chance that someone would end up hurt.

"Hey Garcia." I said to her threw the line and to her, she could see me from the screen of my tablet.

"What is it my new crime fighting crusader?" She asked me and I broke into a grin. Then she looked around and saw no one else. "Where's the rest of our teammates?" Garcia then asked me and I pushed up my glasses.

"They just left to get a suspect." She then blinked at me as I answered her. "Just thought we could talk." I said to her with a small shrug. "You said you wanted to talk about something back in the conference room." Then her face made a small 'O' shape as she remembered.

"Yes yes yes, okay so I hope you don't mind but I did some research on you." I was taken back but then again I would have some the same. "And I noticed that you and our fabulous Dr also went to the same school where you got your doctorates so I'm going to assume that you spent a lot of time together and I was just wondering if you ever like went in a date or anything." I then turned bright red. Why did everyone on the team want to know if we were together?

"No we never-" I paused. Officially Spencer and I had never done anything but we did go on a fake date one time. It was nothing important a. "Nothing ever happened." I said to her and she looked at me.

"I know you told Hotch that you left because you got another offer but you also wrote that working for the BAU was your dream, so I was just wondering what your real reason that's not on paper for leaving if you don't mind?" She then said to me. I blinked at her, she wasn't even a profiler and she knew something was up, or was it just because she was a women?

"Sure there were many reasons I left but it really the offer." I then realized that I had slipped up by saying 'many reasons'. I tried not to say anything and hoped Garcia didn't notice.

"Was it that you had a growing crush?" I froze and I heard her begin to giggle. "Oooh, you did!" She squealed and I looked up even though I had headphones in. "Do you still-"

"Garcia!" I then squealed to her as I sat cross legged on the table of the room we had set us. I felt like a school girl gossiping with a girl friends about my new crush.

"You do!" She called out to me and I sighed running a hand down my face. "And that's why you left-"

"Garcia please stop." I mumbled to her and her face went blank. "Garcia I will tell you everything when we get back but-" I then froze as the doors then opened. I watched Morgan and Hotch haul the teenage boy through the office. I jumped up as I saw everyone besides JJ and Spencer.

"Holly? Holly what's wrong?" Garcia yelled and I yanked out the headphones as I looked up, JJ then came in and I didn't see Spencer anywhere. I saw Rossi, Hotch, JJ, Blake and Morgan.

"Garcia I'll call you back." I said to her and pushed away from the desk rushing out the door. Where was he? I then looked around and caught JJ. "JJ!" I said to her and she then turned around to see me and I noticed her eyes were glossy. I felt my heart sink and I nearly stumbled. "JJ is-"

"No no no!" She insisted grabbing me and pulling me to her as I tried to hold back tears that my drastic assumptions caused. "Spencer is fine Holly." JJ said to me calmly and I nodded. "Do you understand?" She asked me and I nodded to her and I felt her hands tighten on my shoulders for a moment. "He's at the hospital, he was shot but it's wasn't serious, they just wanted to check him over at the hospital."

"Oh god." I said pushing away from her. Then I ran a hand over my face. I had jumped to conclusions once again.

"Holly did you hear me? He's fine." JJ said and I waved her off and I looked around to find Hotch but I didn't see him. I wasn't paying any attention to what JJ wast saying so when I spoke I cut her off.

"Tell Hotch I'll be at the hospital if he needs me." I mumbled to JJ before I pushed passed her and out the front door. I could hear JJ calling for me but I wasn't paying attention, I pushed through the press as they yelled for me to answer any questions. I tried to wipe my eyes as I hoped in the SUV and drove off towards the hospital faster then I usually would have drove.

Yes Reid was shot.... but he's fine I swear it's too early to kill anyone and I'm not John Green so I wouldn't Spencer
