Will you just go away?
I don't want to here what you have to say.
I don't need unsolicited advice.
My own opinion will suffice.
I want to be alone with my pain in our sacred place.
Alone with the memory of his sweet face.
I miss his gentle caress.
The pain and longing I can no longer suppress.
I miss the taste of his kiss.
How am I going to get thru this?
Do I even really want to.
I'm always the one left behind feeling blue.
I have said goodbye to so many.
It always leaves me feeling empty.
The advice is always the same.
Take it one step at a time you'll get back in the game.
What do they know?
They haven't been delivered blow after blow.
How much pain can one person be expected to hold.
It will get better, I'm told.
But I know it doesn't it stay's.
The pain never really goes away.
So this everlasting pain I must hide.
Because nobody really wants to know the grief I keep inside.
