Chapter 2 - Don't trust your bullies

I closed the door behind me, taking a deep breath, I just talked to Louis and he talked back and he thought i was funny. Honestly i feel like a high school girl that just got noticed by his crush, wait that DID happen the only difference is I’m not a girl.

“Umm” A voice said in front of me, I flinch knowing that was Zayn’s voice, when it felt like forever i opened my eyes and saw them looking at me with ... guilt? That’s weird. “Hi Marcel, Thanks for what you did for Louis, yeah thanks, i guess” Zayn said unsure and patted my back Liam and Niall just gave me a smile and all of them made their way to Louis’ room

I look around me and saw people smiling at me, some of them whispering things

“Oh my god did you see him save Louis, He’s so dreamy”

“Why didn’t i notice it before that he’s kind of hot?”

“What if i ask him out on a date would he say yes?”

“Of course he won’t he’s gay remember?”

The last one made me flinch, so all of them do know I’m gay, well at least maybe Zayn, Liam and Niall won’t bully me again, maybe they’ll try to be nice to me, because now I’m Louis’ friend. Who am i kidding, of course they’ll be mean to me, it’s not like I’m Louis’ best friend or anything

But it did felt weird to hear “good” things about me from people here in school, I’ve been used to being called a fag an ugly fuck, so i really don’t know how i feel about this, I walk through the hallway that leads back to the cafeteria

They kept calling me a hero, I’m no hero, I don’t think i am, because if i am i wouldn’t still be scared of Louis’ best friends, but for now the only important thing i can think about is food.

I saw Marcel walking towards us he looks so confused “Hi” He said I smiled at him as he sat right next to me “People saw what you did and they think you’re some kind of hero, which you are by the way” I said making him smile

“But i still don’t get why i am a hero? Or some shit like that, I just carried him to the nurses office what’s so good about Th—“Before he could go one Ashton interrupted him “Stan explained what happened because people were shouting at him for an explanation earlier he just said that you saved Louis, but he didn’t explain how Louis ended up there in the first place, he said it was a secret”

“Stan apologized to everyone and he knows Louis, Liam, Zayn and Niall are going to get him so he went on a holiday, perks of being rich i guess because he literally just called someone on the phone and the next thing we know, he’s going on a 3 month holiday, weird” Luke said his mouth still full of food

“So now we hope that no one will bully you anymore” Michael said and patted Marcel’s back “and now we can eat in peace” I said making them all laugh, Marcel seems to be enjoying our company which is good because we want him to be our friend

I plumped down on the bed feeling happy for once in my life, this day have been good after all, it’s my first good day since ... actually it’s my first good day in like forever, which is great, i guess. I stripped down and changed into my sweatpants and got a tank top on i walked downstairs to the kitchen and heated up some leftover pizza

I went upstairs and pulled up my diary from my bag

Dear Diary,

This is the most interesting day ever, I got heartbroken for at least 5 minutes and then it glued back together when I saved Louis’ and he talked to me ... he even thought i was funny, I made friends too, their names are Luke, Calum, Michael and Ashton, they have this band they call 5 seconds of summer which is cool because i love bands, so basically this day have been interesting, in a good way that is.
