It's cold and i'm not quite ready for the morning-The Rubens(I'll surely die)

"Reese please-"

"Don't-Stay back!" my head whips around trying to watch 7 of them.

How could they?

My back hit the wall; I've got nowhere to run.

"Reese. It's not what you think-" one of them starts but I cut them off.

"Shut up! You're not allowed to talk! Shut! Up!"

They slowly advanced on me.

"How could you?! All that talk about our heritage and you're ruining it with- with-"

Breathe.

"You gave it up you- You turned me into a monster!"

"No Reese we didn't. This is what Mom wants for us. We did it for her-"

"Don't do that! Don't use mom like that! She's dead-"

"No she's not"

I stop dead.

Liars. They're all liars.

I saw her body, I know she's dead. How could they say that? Why?

My eyes flicker to my room door.

"Don't do it-"

I mentally threw an electric current through the room and ran for my room door.

If I could just get to my room-

Arms wrapped around me and I screamed.

"Don't hurt her!" I hear and recoil from the waves of power that rolled off the walls from the voice.

It hit me like a wrecking ball.

~12 hours earlier~

"Uh right in there" I said pointing to the closet door.

I watch Derek hesitantly reach for the door knob.

"I'm really sorry" I murmur as he pulls the door open.

He comes back out carrying Erica's body.

He goes back toward the vault and stops for a moment in front of Allison and Scott, then without saying anything he turns and leaves.

I follow seeing that Allison and Scott are having a moment.

"I'm really sorry Derek" I say again and he whirls.

"What do you want Reese?!" he yells stopping.

"Nothing!" I yell back crossing my arms and he glares at me, and then starts walking again.

We cross the parking lot and enter the woods.

"I know you're probably upset-" "I don't need the pep talk Reese" I frown and speed up to keep step with him.

"I'm not giving you a pep talk I'm just trying to say that-"

"Reese! What. Do. You. Want?" Derek repeats and he stops turning to look at me.

"I told you, nothing"

"Go home Reese" Derek says and he looks like he wants to say something else but decides against it.
