Clove doesnt really care if the idea of the plan is ridiculous but she's embarrassed of what she's going to do. She needs to show a lasting impression that she's tough and a threat. But what she's going to do will change everything.
'They'll see me as a tough tribute who has a soft spot for her district partner. How cute. Ugh!' the thought of it frustrates her.
No one has ever done that. Hunger Games is about 24 tributes killing each other and in the end, the lone survivor becomes the triumphant victor. It isn't about 22 tributes killing each other while the other 2 tributes are exchanging sweet words to each other then they became the victors. Happy ending! Yay!
Though it disgust her, Clove has something in her mind.
