Dinner with a vampire. Did I mention I'm vegetarian? (Chapter 20)

OMG... CHAPTER 20! ALREADY!!!

Oh, I just love a certain part of this chapter. Hahahahahaha!!!

Ok, so with the songs, (if you listen to them) only play the second one (Yeah, by Kelly Clarkson) after the words "Far off in another land..." You'll see why XD

Shout out to my fans... you make writing worth it, seriously! Comments make me skip to school. And I have maths first almost everyday!

If you a new fan, well welcome to my madness hehe ^^

Old fans - watch out, I'm hyper! ^^

Okay, so hope you enjoy, comment, and vote if you are in the mood!

And seriously guys - I am totally blown over, astounded, amazed, flabbergasted, shocked, dumbfounded, and happy of course, at the amount of reads, votes, and most AMAZING fans "Dinner with a vampire..." has. I can think of so many more adjectives to describe how stunned I am at the popularity of this story. But none of them are quite right. Because, truth be told, this was just something to distract me from my more serious writing (I was writing two other books), and yes - even more serious than this =D But I now honestly think, with your encouragement, my writing is the best it has ever been, and I love this story, and how it is developing. (Hmm... I sound big-headed =S).

So yeah... that was me going soppy on you all... XD

Virtual hugs all round!!!

And that is how my life progressed for the next couple of weeks. Dream... nightmare after nightmare, troubling me night after night.

Every night I would wake up in a cold sweat, breathing heavily. Sometimes I would scream, but the vampires soon learnt to ignore me. Because of course, they could hear me. I knew they sat downstairs, discussing me, discussing my dreams, keeping me in the dark.

It drove me insane.

I had a right to know why I was suddenly having these nightmarish imaginings.

Didn't I?

Crawling back out from under my bed, I flopped onto the bed. Today was the 27th August. Which meant tomorrow was the 28th.

My eighteenth birthday.

I was becoming a legal adult a hostage.

Yippee.

I propped myself up against a couple of pillows, staring blankly into space.

I should be out partying, opening presents, having my first legal drink of alcohol.

Big emphasis on the LEGAL.

Not lying on a bed, in the middle of nowhere, afraid to go to sleep. All whilst facing the constant threat of thirty odd vampires that occupied the household.

Life really does suck.

I gaped at the piano for a minute, contemplating whether to play anything or not. Absentmindedly, I decided I would. I floated over to the black instrument, dropped onto the stool, and just sat there for a while, not knowing what to play.
