Chapter 30

When I headed up to my room I layed on my bed and thought about my date about Derrick. I thought; I really had feeling for a guy that actually cares about me at least that's what I think. How am I gonna tell him about Damian? I'll just wait awhile to tell him. Then later I went to bed.

The next day I woke up.(it was Saturday) Ate breakfast and took a shower. I put my hair in a side braid. I wore black ripped up skinny jeans with a loose cream sweater with my converse. Then sat on the couch and watched tv for a whole. [Lilly and Jack were not home]

Around like 2 I decided to go for a walk. When I was walking someone grabbed me.....

Damian grabbed me and started to beat the shit out of me. Of course he won because I couldn't do anything. Then after Damian beat me up he just left like nothing happened. When Damian left I got myself up and wiped off the grass on me and continued to walk well back to my house. When I got to my house I saw Derrick sitting on my porch. I was so confused when I saw him on my porch but then I remembered that I left my phone at home so I thought he might be worried.

Derrick: I was worried when you didn't answer your phone

Me: ummm....yeah I left it here when I took a walk

Derrick: do you wanna hang out

Me: ummmm......??????no I cant(I really could but I didn't want Derrick to know what Damian did and I kept rubbing my wrists because they got pretty bruised and I had a slight bruise on my face)

Derrick: (grabs my arm an pulled my sleeve up) who did this to you

Me: no one

Derrick: someone did this to you know tell me who

Me: ummmmmmmmmm.....Damian.....

Derrick: he did this to you

Me: don't do anything I can handle myself now go

Derrick: ok but ill talk to you later

I went inside.

I headed up to my room and watched a movie and fell asleep.

*The next day*

I woke up I took a shower and put my hair in a bun and pit yoga pants and a sweatshirt on. I went downstairs and found Lilly and Scott making out. I thought oh shit he is back.

Lilly: hey I just finished planning your sweet sixteen its gonna be on your birthday because it falls on a Saturday. So we have to look for your dress.

Me:k. ( I was dreading this because my birthday was next month)

Lilly: I already gave the invitations out

Me: k (headed back upstairs)

When I got up stairs I thought; this is just great I know Lilly invited Scott. This is just wonderful and she probably invited Damian and Lexi oh just wonderful and to top all off we go dress shopping tomorrow when I get home from school oh the joy.

I did nothing the rest of the day.

I went to school the next day.

I was sitting in my science class waiting for the bell to ring. Then I heard someone say that Derrick and Damian were arguing in the hallway so I went in the hallway to see what was going on. Derrick and Damian were arguing and they weren't that quite arguing either. Before I knew it Derrick and Damian started fighting. They fought for a good 10 minutes. Derrick won though. The principle came down the hallway and found Derrick and Damian fighting and then Derrick and Damian ended up in the principles office.

*later*

Derrick comes up to me.

Derrick: hey I think I fixed your problem with Damian bothering you

Me: yeah I know

Derrick: you saw that

Me: I know you care and all. But I told you I can fucking handle myself know stop trying to help me

Derrick: but...

Me: (walks away pissed off)

Heads to the parking lot to go home.
