Chapter 24: Lake House

Serena won't stop trying to get me to come with her this weekend to an out of town trip. She wanted to come to their Lake House for she said she misses it.

"Please SKYE!" She pleads "It will be fun, I promise!"

"I don't know Serena" biting my inner cheek

"If you want I can ask your parents, I'm sure they'll say yes plus Jake going too"

"You can ask them if I can go but if they say No it's a No, you understand?"

"Clear as crystal"

Before I can even talk to my parents for introduction, Serena can no longer stop herself from speaking.

"We have this lake house and I wanted to go there this weekend. Also, wanted Skye to come with us at the lake house by mean us Jake and Daniel. Please! Please let Skye come with us" She begs again

"2 boys? I don't think it's a good idea" Mom said

"Jake's my step brother and Daniel's a friend, I now them both they will not do anything that could harm Skye or anyone of us. I can give you the address and the telephone number so you can check, if you want? Just please let Skye come!"

"It's just for the weekend, Do you wanna come Skye?" Dad asks

"I-" Serena has her puppy dog eyes staring at me, I couldn't ignore it "Yes" I gave in

"Then okay, Just call us if anything happens" Dad said

"Really?" Serena couldn't believe

"Do you want me to take it back?" Dad jokes

"No!" She shakes her head "Did I ever tell you Mr. Morgan that you are the coolest person ever?!"

"He knows that already! He even remind me every single time" Mom said rolling her eyes at Dad

"You know you love me still!" Dad kisses Mom's cheek

"We'll leave tomorrow at 6 am" She told me "Thank you Mr. And Mrs. Morgan! You two are the best!"

"Okay, drive safe Serena!"

"I will! Bye!" She waves goodbye and left

Serena came by the house at 5 am in the morning knocking on the door and calling me non-stop on the phone. I came rushing down stairs before Mom or Dad wakes up.

"What?!" I mediumly shouted, opening the door in my pj's and messy hair

"It's 5, you have to fix everything that you'll bring. We are leaving at 6 sharp" She pushes me inside the house, closing the door

"Can I still sleep maybe for 15 minutes more? I swear I am a quicker packer" rubbing my sleepy eyes, as we go up stairs to our room

"No more 15 or even 5 minutes sleep, you are packing now! I have waited this long, I want this to be a perfect weekend" She opens my closet, as I slam my body back in bed "Where's your bag?"

"At the closet" I pointed

"Get you cute butt on the shower, I'll pack your clothes after we go eat some breakfast maybe. The boys will be here before 6"

"Just 5 minutes more" I cover myself in my blanket

"No! It's already 5:09, I don't want anyone to ruin my weekend. Especially not you!" She pulls me off bed, pushing me into the bathroom

"I want my bed!" Went back to it

"You are such a stubborn person! You are getting in there and take a shower" she pushes me again
