Chapter 14: Unexpected

I just got home from school and Dad was already home, he was talking to someone.

We have a visitor?

"Dad! I'm home" I went to the kitchen to see who he was with

"Hi baby, you have a visitor" Dad gestured to the guy he was talking too, the guy was Daniel

"Hi Skye!" He smiles

"Hi! What are you doing here?" As I take a seat next to my dad

"I wanted to see you, you haven't called so I visited instead. Hope you don't mind"

"She doesn't really" Dad was so cool about him

"Okay" there was something here

"I also brought you flowers and chocolates" he gives it to me

"Wow! These flowers are so beautiful" I said in amazement

"Not as beautiful as you are" he smiles

"That's my cue, I'm going to the office" Dad stands and brings his coffee "Welcome to the Family Daniel!" Dad pats his shoulder

"Thank you Sir!" Daniel politely said, then dad was gone

"He likes you a lot" I said

"yeah" he runs his fibgers through his hair and looks at me with his ever perfect eyes that give me shivers "I know that it's fast but I believe in love at first sight and the first time I saw you I knew you were the one" his words are like music to my ears, it can make you weak on your knees

"Daniel, ahm"

"You don't have to say anything, I just let me love you. That is all I ask" he holds my hand "Skye, I love you!" My eyes widen in his words

"Shit!" I even cursed

"Please say you love me too!"

"Sorry, you are a very goodlooking guy but I'm in love with someone else. I know that I shouldn't but I love him, it's totally crazy but I'm willing to wait or even just love him from a far" I smile as I spoke my heart out

"I knew it!" Daniel exclaim, shocking me

"What?" I was so confused

"You are a lovely girl but just not the girl for me!" He says in relief making me more confused "Oh, I don't really like you, maybe as a friend or a sister-in-law" he winks

"What are you talking about?"

"You love Dylan or like!" He said wiggling his brows

"No!" I denied

"Don't deny it, I knew the moment I layed eyes on you two" snapping his fingers "I know it's not in my looks that I'm a hopeless romantic but I believe in love"

"But you are so confusing me!"

"I just don't like his taste in girls, he is always atttacted to i must say bitches but never girlfriend material"

"Are you gay?" I bluntly asks

"Proud and Fabulous!" He giggles

"Oh my God!" I was shocked at the confession

"I get that a lot!"

"And your family knows?" I was curious as hell

"Yeah, it's no biggie to them" he winks, he still looks so good to be gay. I stare

"Hon, please. No staring, I know I'm a goddessp" he rolls his eyes teasingly

"Don't be offended but why be a self defense instructor if your ahm.."

"Gay?" He continues and laugh

"Yes"

"To be honest I don't know, I love karate and martial arts I guess plus being close to.. you're good!" He nodds

"What?"

"You ask me questions to make me forget why I came here" He smirks

"No! Not at all"

"I'm telling you these, I like you for my brother. No jokes and lies" he swears

"But Dylan and I can never be, even if I admit that I like him. qMy bestfriend is his girlfriend" I told him

"I know but that doesn't mean you can't steal my brother away" he sudgests

"No way!" Shaking my head

"It's your only choice!"

"I will not hurt my bestfriend, to get to my happiness"

"Think about it Skye, we could be sisters and you'll be with Dylan"

"Tempting I must say but No!" I stood up fron my chair

"Come on! Please say that at least you'll think about it" he is so persistant

"My decision is final"

"I'll respect that if that's it"

"Thank you Daniel" I smile

"Then I must go now" he makes his way to the door as I follow "Goodbye Skye" he opens the door and step out

"Goodbye Daniel" as I close the door

What just happen?

Someone knocks, It was Daniel again

"A piece if advice, beware of snakes. Bye again" and he then walk to his car, this time it's for real "Bye Skye!" He blew a kiss as he drove away

"What does he mean by Beware of snakes?" I ask myself
