Chapter 3: The Truth?

"I had to lie. There was nothing else I could do to protect her."

The school day had finally come to a close as you were all allowed out for lunch. Of course, the obvious thing to do was to go see Rodrich for whatever the heck he wanted to talk to you about. You felt slightly nervous; after all you're meeting a male in a secluded and quiet place. Once you opened the stiff wooden door to the music department, your ears were immediately greeted by the luscious sound of what was probably a very old piano, unlike ones you had heard time and time before. You traced the sound and eventually found the classroom emitting the noise. The clear window gave a pleasant view inside and what was inside? Not just Rodrich, who was sitting and playing the piano, but Francis, that blond guy from before, the same jealous grey-haired girl and another you'd never seen before. He had silver-ish, nearly white, hair with deep scarlet eyes. You felt intimidation in your heart. Betrayal, you believe.

The grey-haired girl noticed your presence, bit her lip and slowly opened the door to allow you in. Everyone in the room turned to you and Rodrich stood up and walked to your side. "We're glad you're here, ___." he said, looking towards the others. "You've already met Francis, but let me introduce the others. Over here is Arthur, here's Elizabeta and here is Gilbert." They all smiles but hid some form of guilt between them. "It's about time you tell her." The girl you now knew was Elizabeta said. Arthur stood forwards and begun the tale.

Arthur: I'm sure you're familiar with the two World Wars which plagued the world for many, many years? Of course you are. To put it simply... War is coming. And this time, it won't stop.

You: H-huh?

Gilbert: It's for even the awesome me to believe it! But it's true.

Elizabeta: What we're trying to say is... This isn't just an art school. It was a school built but a very long time ago... To support those who befriended... Certain people, let's say. Feliciano is one of these "certain people". I'm sure you've heard of Joan of Arc?

Francis looked so pained, it hurt.

Francis: She was one of those people. So is your friend, Lucy. She became friends with someone by the name of Raivis.

You: So, what does Feli have to do with any of this? I don't see what's going on in all of this.

Rodrich: Feli chose you to save. As such, he had to break off all communication. He never hated you. He still loves you dearly. This school was made to save those people. Though, nobody thought you would be that closely involved.

Tears flooded down your cheeks. So, Feli never hated you...? He did all this to protect you?

Feli's POV

It was time. Rodrich and the others should have told her by now. I had to lie. There was nothing else I could do to protect her. So, I sent her to that "school". I didn't want her to be harmed in any way... As much as the others rejected her knowing the truth, I made them tell her. She deserved to know why I abandoned her. "Italy, are jou ready?" Ludwig's voice called from outside. "C-Coming!" It was finally coming. Germany knew I would just run away but he still believes in me no matter what. I jumped out to join him. Hopefully this will be over soon...

Normal POV

You felt weak. Your legs felt like they could no longer support you and your eyelids felt heavy. Before you knew it, everything fell black.

"B-Bella?! What are you doing here?!" The sound of gun shots deafened your tiny earlobes. "Feli!" Just the very slight of him made your heart race. Without thinking, you tackled him over in a gigantic hug. Never mind the scars and blood patches staining his body. You were finally reunited with the man you love with all your heart and might... "___..." He stroked his weak hands through your (h/c) hair and then gave you a deep and passionate kiss. It felt so good to be back together with him, you started crying uncontrollably. After the long-lasting kiss ended, he whispered into your ear "I have to go now..." Your eyes widened as you realised you were slowly fading away. Screaming was the only thing you could do. Nothing else worked. You were paralysed and Feliciano could no longer see or hear you.

"N-N-NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! FELI, NOOOO!" Your body flailed to no end as you re-awoke inside your room. Elizabeta was sitting on the edge of your bed but was alerted and called the other to hold you down to try to calm you down. Your screamed echoed maniacally throughout the academy, making it sound like a slaughter house. "NOOOO! FELI, DON'T LEAVE ME!! NOT AGAIN!!!!!!" No matter what the others did, you couldn't stop screaming or flailing. It was like you had lost all senses with your body. You had gone into shock. And if you continued on this state for too long, your body may no longer be able to function and your heart would exhaust itself, leading to shutting down your organs. Some blood had already been spilt. The only thing similar to this could be the emotions and placements of medieval surgery. "___! Listen to me! You need to calm down!! Gilbert, grab her legs and Francis, grab her arms! Arthur, go get some water!!" Elizabeta ordered.

Eventually, the cries stopped. ___ survived but just barely. Her heart nearly gave out but thanks to the dedication of the others, she pulled through. But now she had an even bigger battle than heart break.

A battle against herself and the world.

Gun fires could be heard in the distances.

"How did they find us?!"

Author's Notes: Honestly, this is completely different from how I imaged this section to go to the lead up... But it'll do.
