Michelle went into labour today.
I'd been out this morning so it was a surprise to come back too.
Shane drove us there and Michelle was in a lot of pain.
"Hello Michelle. I'm Mandy,your midwife." Mandy smiles.
"Hello." Michelle says,still in pain.
"This your boyfriend?" Mandy asks,looking at Shane.
"No,my sisters boyfriend." Michelle smiles at me and I squeeze her hand.
"Where's your partner then sweetheart?" Mandy looks confused.
"Don't have one,not anymore." Michelle says. "Can we get on with this?"
"Your 7cm,more than half way. I'll come and check on you in an hour. See you soon." Mandy walks out.
"Nosey cow!" Michelle says.
"Michelle!" I say,laughing.
"Asking if Shane's my boyfriend when he's clearly yours." She rolls her eyes. "Then asking where mine is!"
"I'm gonna go get a coffee,anyone want one?" Shane asks.
"Get me a coffee and pack of crisps." Michelle says.
"I'll have a coffee." I say.
Michelle's phone rings and she gets a text.
"Who's it off?" I ask.
"Lindsay." She smiles and texts back.
