Doubts (a Doctor Who fanfiction)

Hi anyone who decides to read this! :D I'm really excited and nervous to be posting my first ever fanfiction on any site let alone wattpad. I'd really like to know what you guys think, but please nothing rude (ie. swearing) I'll take any criticism that's fine but please don't swear at me! Also all copyright to the BBC I do not own Doctor Who unfortuantly but Leah is my character and I will really appreciate it if you don't steel her, I may have to send the silence after you. So without further ado here's the first chapter of Doubts, hope you enjoy!!

"Dad!" I playfully nudged my father as we walked into our time machine. After saving yet another planet we were ready to for our next adventure. My Father chuckled a gave me the goofy smile he always does when he knows he's getting on my nerves. I smiled back and kept quiet.

I watched as he spun around the console, pressing a button every now and then. I don't think he realised how much of a madman he looked right now. He stopped and stared at me, those green eyes staring at me for so long. I hated when he did that it was like he was looking through my act, my act of happiness. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I'm never happy but I'm always sad, and I can never figure out why. It all started when I kept dreaming about those two bright suns when I was 5. I felt myself drift out of thought and realised I was crying.

"Leah, what's wrong?" Dad softly asked as he walked towards me. "Nothing Dad, these are happy tears" I lied trying to force happiness into my voice. "Okay" he replied. Usually he would press the situation but I decided to leave it alone but I made a mental note to ask him about something later.

"So where are we going?" I asked curiously as he danced around the controls again. "Well" he replied stretching out the 'e' "The TARDIS may have just tracked a signal to Cardiff, so if you want to we could follow it? he asked even though he new what my answer would be. "Yes, of course I would!" I smiled, I hadn't been going on many of these trips with him, because he only now believes I'm properly old enough, but by the look on his face, this could be serious.

AN: So what did you think, tell me in the comments, and yeah I know short chapter but its a start. I will hopefully update once a week, it could be before or slightly after just depends on school.
