When we reach the others (Jerome, Preston, and of course Jenna), I give Jenna a meaningful look. She frowns and mouths "What's wrong?".

"Toilets. Now." I mouth back, as sternly as I can.

She follows me to the loos and I check each cubicle to make sure we're alone.

"Sarah, what's happened? Are you okay?"

I don't know. Am I?

"He kissed me."

Her eyes widen as her jaw drops.

"Wait, isn't this a GOOD thing?"

I really don't know. Is it?

I mean, it FELT good, but...

"Sarah, it's not a huge deal. It's good. You should be happy. You're just nervous, that's all."

Oh I'm way past nervous. I'm about to have a heart attack.

"I can't believe it, Jenna. This trip has been so bizarre from the outset. I mean, what are the chances of ending up in the same hotel as them? It makes no sense. We don't live in a Disney movie."

Jenna turns to face the mirrors and starts teasing her hair.

"Yep. But it's not like it wasn't possible, right?"

Considering how big New York is, I'd say the odds were pretty slim.

She's picking her finger nails now. Looking very suspicious there, Jen.

"Jenna, what's up with you?"

Her cheeks go pink.

"What aren't you telling me?"

I'm getting worried now. What's going on?

"I- er, it's not a big thing. Don't be mad. Please."

Spit it out already.

"Jenna. Tell me."

"It may not have been SUCH a huge coincidence. The hotel thing."

What is she saying?

"I may have seen on Mitch's twitter where they were going. And recommended it to your mum."

Oh my god. Jenna!

"Jenna!! That's stalking!"

I cannot believe this. Why would she think its okay to do that?

"Oh come on, it was on his TWITTER. I'm surprised you didn't see it yourself."

Me too, actually.

"Anyway, it's all worked out well, hasn't it? I thought I was doing you a favour."

A favour??

"Worked out well?! In what way has this worked out well? Because of you, Jenna, I like a guy that lives in flipping Canada. I won't even see him again."

"You don't know that."

"I do."

"Well, I didn't exactly think all this would happen. I thought you'd just get a photo with him and stuff."

Yeah. No photo, just a lot of 'stuff'.

I really can't believe this. I don't know if I'm justified in being mad at her, but I am anyway.

She lied to me, really.

I don't reply to her. I just walk out, and keep walking to the exit. I need to be alone to digest everything that has just happened.

Of course, Mitch comes after me.

"Sarah? Are you okay?"

Not really.

"I'm fine. I'm just tired. I want to go home. To the hotel, I mean."

"Is this because of what happened before?"

A little bit.

"No."

"Then what? Is it Jenna?"

I nod.

"Tell me what happened."

I don't want to, but I tell him what she said.

He thinks for a few seconds, then just says "Okay.".

Okay?!

"Okay? That's it?"

"Well, what am I supposed to say? It's a little weird, yeah, but I wouldn't go as far as calling that stalking."

"Aren't you bothered?"

He shakes his head.

"Honestly, I'm kinda grateful."

What?

"Grateful? I-I was mad at her."

"Why?"

"Because. Now I have another problem to add to the list."

He looks offended. Oops.

"I'm a problem?"

"No. I didn't mean it like that. The problem is that after I leave this place, that's it."

"It doesn't have to be."

What is he suggesting?

"Last I checked, Mitch, there's a few thousand miles between our home turfs."

"Last I checked, Sarah, there are planes. And Skype."

"You would fly to see me?"

"Sure, why not?"

"Because.. Money. Time. Effort."

"I have enough of the first two. And I think it'll be worth the third."

Wow.

I don't know how to reply.

"Sarah, it's been like four days, and look how awesome it's been. I don't want to not see you again."

"Wow. I don't know what to say."

"Just say you'll think about it."

"Okay. I will."

"You still want to go home?"

I nod.

So we get a taxi back together, and not much is said. When we arrive, we go our separate ways.
