Kylo's P.O.V

Rey had run, back to her friend no doubt, and I began to follow, when it struck me that she didn't have the lightsaber that rightfully belonged to me. I glanced around, finding nothing but snow.

The snow was not deep, and thus could not hide the lightsaber, so I turned and walked, looking everywhere, getting frantic and irritated.

"Looking for this?"

I froze. It was a females voice, but far more carefree than Rey's. I turned, and there was a figure, cloaked, face in the shadows of the cowl.

In her hand was what I searched for. But she stood like didn't know what it was. Like she didn't know who I was.

Pity that would be her downfall.

"That belongs to me." I stretched out my hand for her to give it to me.

My mask morphed my voice into a stern and gruff tone.

"But, what's that saying? Finders keepers?" She kept the saber tucked close to her body. "If you want it back, you fight me for it."

I was tiring of pointless fighting, but I thought I would humour the girl. I pulled my lightsaber out and stood in a fighting stance, comforted by the sound of my weapon buzzing to life.

The girl mirrored my movements perfectly, and then she stood stock still, waiting for me to attack first.

I pounced forward, swinging my saber in an ark over her head, slowly, testing her skill. She was clumsy as she blocked the blow, nearly stumbling to the ground. However, her hood covered her face constantly.

I tried for a side swing, and again she was almost knocked back. She was already panting, and I knew it was almost over.

As she jumped away, her hip brushed against mine, a fleeting moment that seemed to frighten her more.

I stood above her, and lifted my... my lightsaber was gone.

"I seem to have one to many weapons." The girl said.

I turned to see her hold the two sabers, and my face contorted in confusion.

I'd had enough of her games, and I held out my hand, forcing her hands behind her. Her face was covered, but her body fought against me, pointlessly, but endlessly.

I walked slowly towards her, making her efforts increase, but her body was frozen under my command. I walked behind her, sensing her body stiffen without any effort on my part.

I leaned forwards to pull both lightsabers from her grasp. They both hissed to silence as I placed them in my belt.

I lifted a hand to the girls hood and yanked it away from her face. Red hair cascaded down her shoulders, framing her piercing blue eyes and freckled face. Her face did not portray the fear I sensed.

A memory of this morning flashed in my head:

*****

"I feel a change." Snoke told me. "It is not quite to do with the force, but I can feel it."

"I feel it too, like something in time has changed. Like someone knows something I can't control." I told him.

He nodded, a grave look on his twisted features. He knew what I meant, but he felt it ten times more.

I felt the same thing now.

*****

She was smirking at me, like she had a secret. In fact, her eyes seemed full of secrets.

"Give me one reason why I shouldn't kill you right now." I demanded.

"You find me confusing, like an unfinished puzzle." She told me without skipping a heartbeat.

I tilted my head as much as I could with the mask, thinking this over. She had knowledge, it was obvious, and it may be important.

I lifted my hand in the air, and her eyes rolled back before she collapsed in my arms. I lifted her off the ground and marched back to the ship.

The stormtroopers fought off the Resistant fighters left after the attack as I boarded.

I didn't even suspect that I would be followed.

I'd really appreciate if you guys could tell me what you think so far. The picture attatched is the girl mentioned.
