Their outfits on the side. I hate describing outfits so I put up a picture instead.

Oh and there is language in this chapter, I know there hasn't been much up to this point because she doesn't curse, but you'll understand when you read it, just a warning.

Thrown an outrageous party and invited the whole school

January 6, 2012

So you might be thinking that this is going to be like every other story you’ve heard.

Let me explain.

Girl throws party, girl gets drunk, girl gets roofied, girl gets raped.

Or girl throws party, girl gets drunk, someone calls cops on party, girl gets arrested, parents never trust her again.

Well let me tell you, that is far from it. This is going to be one of those parties where girl gets permission for party as long as nothing is broken when the parents return from visiting the relatives for a week and there is no alcohol involved in the party whatsoever.

So saying… there will be alcohol, but not a lot. And how do I stop the breakables from getting broken? By putting them somewhere that no one will be, duh.

And again, so saying, this is where I am currently, in my living room at twelve in the afternoon, looking at three ancient Chinese vases, two crystal ashtrays, four porcelain teapots, three blown glass lamps and one very large pure jade umbrella holder.

Like really, a jade umbrella holder? That’s almost as stupid as having four porcelain teapots we never use and the crystal ashtrays we have, which baffle me because no one in this house smokes.

It was like we were going to start a museum for things people never use but look really nice.

I was shaking my head at all of this stuff while the girls were looking at it with astonished gazes.

“I never knew you had all this stuff Wends.” Fran whispered, awe-struck.

I rolled my eyes, “You guys act like it’s the holy grail. We get stuff like this, and then we use it as decoration…or fruit bowls.” I muttered the last part causing Harriet to snicker.

“Well this umbrella holder is gorgeous.” Sammy smiled down at it.

“I know, now let’s all grab a piece and put it in my parent’s bathroom.” I suggested as we all grabbed something.

“Why your parent’s bathroom?” Fran asked while walking up the stairs to their room.

“Because I’m locking all the bedroom doors,” I answered, opening their bedroom door, “but to make doubly sure that no one touches this stuff,” I opened their bathroom door and put down the ashtrays, “I’m putting it in their bathroom, which will also be locked.” They nodded and set down their stuff and we went back to the living room to get the rest.

“So Wends, where is Adrian?” Fran asked.

I tried shrugging nonchalantly, “I don’t know, I haven’t talked to him since Tuesday.”

They stopped walking and I bumped into them, almost dropping the teapots I was holding, “Guys, you almost made me drop the teapots!” They all stared at me and I rolled my eyes, “What gives?”

“It’s Friday Wendy, why haven’t you talked to him in like two days?” Harriet interrogated me; hand on hip holding a Chinese vase.

I sighed and walked past them, into my parents room, “I just haven’t okay, it’s not like I can’t live without him.”
