Polytherian Rant

Hey guys! It's Scorch here. Ok, so a polytherian is a therian with more than one theriotype. I do have a bit to say about them though...

Ok, so guys, it really annoys me about how people assume they're a poly the second they have a confusing shift/meditation, or a cameo shift (a shift that isn't the person's theriotype(s)). First off, it's completely fine to have a second theriotype, or even a third or fourth, but once you go over five, it seems fake. You can't have seven different spirits crammed into one body. It would be overwhelming, with so many confusing shifts of to many different animals. Yes, I think there is a limit to spirits in a body. I thing four or five would be a limit. Here's my example: A lioness therian has a dream shift, but they couldn't clearly see their lion spirit, so they thought they saw stripes on the lioness. They then automatically think that they have a tiger spirit as well. Do you see what I'm saying? After so little research or thought, people start assuming they have a lot of theriotypes. If you have wolfish behavior as well as doggish, good chance is it's not another theriotypes. It's most likely a wolf-dog. So yeah, you can't have theriotype upon theriotype. And you shouldn't assume it because of one confusing meditation or a cameo shift. Finding if you have a second spirit takes just as (if not then longer) long as the first spirit, so don't just assume it then start piling on theriotypes, ok!
