Chapter 5 ~ The Trio:

Umi's POV

I woke up in a warm embrase from my sleeping tiwin brother. Usually, I would throw off who ever this was but this time, I didn't. He made feel safe. I squirmed oout of the warmth and instenly was greeted by the cold. I sighed before sitting up. It was break time, I could go see Gaara-san again. But, then I'd be leaving Koku behind. Then he wouldn't have any friends. Maybe, I could take him with me....? But..... would Gaara-san mind? He did say he wanted friends. I bet it wouldn't hurt to try, right? I nudgged Koku, waking him up.

"Hm? What is it?" he asked sleep dazed while he rubbed some crust out of his eyes.

"Want to meet someone?" I asked cheerfully. He woke up imediatly.

"Ah!! Umi! You're awake!" he exclaimed, blushing a little "Um, meet who?" he asked, sitting up. I smilled brightly, I think we'll get along well.

"My friend!" I said grabbing his hand and pulling him to the side of the house. "Threw here," I said before crawling through the hole. I giggled when I watched him get stuck. I grabbed both of his hands and pulled him out. He complained  about the tight space and I rolled my eyes befre yanking him in the direction I always meet Gaara-san.

I spotted his red head a few feet away and instenly let got of Koku's hand and placed my hands over Gaara's eyes.

"Guess who, apple head!" I chanted. I grabbed one of my hands and moved it off his eye.

"Hello, Umi," he said montonly. I grinned wide, so cute.

"Hey, guees what!" I said claping my hands together.

"You decided to become a quiet nun?" he asked. I anime fell but stood back up in a minute.

"No! I brought someone!" I said cheerfully. Gaara looked at me quizly before Koku came up behind me.

"Gaara, this is my twin brother who just woke up, Koku, this is my first an best friend Gaara!"  I said moving my hand in the direction I was talking about. The two boys glared at each other. Oh, how cute, they like each other already! (she's dense -_-")

"From today onword we three will be a trio!" I said clapping my hands together again.

"I don't want to be friends with him," Koku said turning his nose up in the air.

"And I don't want to be friends with you," Gaara-san said moving his head away.

"Aw! You tow get along so well, We'll be the best trio ever!" I said pulling them both into a hug by there necks. I grinned happily as the two glared at each other. Yeah, they'll get along well.

Back then, my old 5 year old self didn't understand but, we would break away one day, in a minute our worlds would fall apart. If only I knew ahead of time.
