It was a strange feeling, comfort was. A highly satisfying yet fearful emotion. Satisfying because you enjoy your current situation or position and fearful because you may never experience this 'comfort' again. Or maybe your scared of the feeling itself because once you've tasted the happiness and fuzzy warmth it brings, it may inflict pain or depression when it's taken away and never felt again.

However, the fearful part of comfort was not something I felt as I woke up surrounded by Daniel's sturdy arms. It was only felt when I heard the slight bantering of Flora ,the house maid , and a women outside the office door, that I had woken up from my slumber.

I was currently snuggled up to a peacefully sleeping Daniel while two women argued in what they presumed were hushed voices.

"You have to let me in, I miss him too much." The women's desperate yet agitated voice sounded. She was quite unruly at the time and I knew her patience was wearing thin due to the gritting of her teeth. But it seemed as if both Flora and the women were both unsettled by the presence of one another.

Hang on Flora.

"I'm sure Mr.Morello hasn't called for your presence. If he had done so, he would have made me aware. He is soundly sleeping in later, which is something he is often too busy to do. Now if you still proceed to disagree, I will have no problem in escorting you out myself." The elderly voice of Flora said. My heart twisted at her words because I knew she cared for Daniel as a mother would and rarely expressed such emotions in her words. Flora was a kind and caring women but still remained strong willed and had a tough exterior much like Daniel.

"I don't care. He loves me, he'll want to see me. Besides, I miss him far too much to wait any longer, he can sleep later." The women hissed back. My heart thurndered at the strong emotion she'd used to discribe her relationship between herself and Daniel, but he wasn't mine to claim. 'Only my protector', was a constant statement I had used to remind myself. I clenched my hands as I got off Daniel, making sure not to wake him. Tiny red half moons were engraved onto the skin of my palm. It was a strange variety of emotions I was cooking up into a potion but in the end only one stood out the most; anger.

It was a crass thing to talk to an elder like that, but I guess some people think the rules don't apply to them when they're rich and fancy with all the right boy toys and green accessories, most of them being emeralds and money.

Judging by the strong voice she had the women seemed confident and inportant. She could potentially be one of Daniel's toys but their was a slight possibility that he may love her and the thought itself hurt me to think of.

What am I doing, fancying a desirable man when I was only a mere responsibility for him.

I didn't want Flora to think something had happened, so I stared fixing myself up to leave so that whenever they would move away from the door I would have the opportunity to escape without being noticed my Daniel or Flora.

I knew that Daniel would most likely forget about the night we spent together, because it was simply nothing. After all, it was only an act of respect and hospitality to comfort your guests. Too bad my pathetic thoughts were cut off by the loud booming slam of the office doors as they were thrown open by a golden haired beauty.

With long sunny waves that reached midback and bright green eyes, the women had the looks and body of a godess. She was slim and fairly tall by the looks of it, her legs going on for miles and the stunningly white kitten heels she wore only enhanced the toned structures. Her, what I presumed were, designer clothes were made up of a white and red blouse and suit jacket paired with a tight pencil skirt that molded and hugged her body in all they right places.
