If you're looking for a good book to gain more knowledge about Korea, I believe that these books may just do the trick. :>

Popped (Trilogy) by Chinggay Labrador

Popped, Popped too and Popped 3

Well, it talks about a girl-barkada who loves K-Pop, K-drama and anything that has Korea on it. I think ito yung books na masasabi kong makakarelate ka if you love fangirling, you simply love Kpop or you just wanna know how Korean interacts or some places you wanna visit if you plan to go to that dreamland!

The trilogy is in English and produced by Summit. They can be seen in National Bookstore, not sure if marami pang stocks but the last time I checked, Popped 3 nalang ang nakikita ko. Try your luck. :>

If it's about the content, I really love the flow of the story. Simple lang siya and very realistic. The books can give you hope of what may happen if you encounter your KPop idol and actually be friends with them. The author can make your knees jelly and hurt easily. I praise her for being a cool author and letting me travel Korea kahit nasa Pilipinas ako. lol.

P175/book.  Ibig sabihin with 525 or even 175 pesos itself, you'll have the chance to experience the love of Korea. :)

2. Making out in Korean 1 & 2

If you want to nourish your korean twang (speaking) or learn more Korean phrases or simply know the things you can say if you met a Korean. These books are very helpful!

I got my own copy way back before (Highschool). I got the blue book first (More Making Out it Korean by Ghi-woon Seo), it's kinda pricey but worth it naman. I let my dad and uncles checked it for me at sabi nila tama daw lahat ng translation kaya it's a relief and a sure winwin! Nakalagay dun yung mismong romanized version, the original version at how to read version ng bawat phrases that make the whole thing a lot easier!

I got the (should be) first book which is Revised Edition Making Out in Korean (Green book) by Peter Constantine revised by Gene Baik last last year. It's thinner compared sa blue book pero it tackles morea about the basic conversation about meeting up, when you're in a restaurant and oh, some censored part for lovers (but heck, it's fine. You can or cannot read it anyway).

I trust theses babies because when I got the green book, I started self studying about Hanguk (Korean dialect) and I believe that they give the right informations. The letter and sentence constructions are correct so there's no doubt about it. Kahit na medyo mahal ang dalawang libro, still maganda pa rin yun compared dun sa English-Korean books na mura nga pero mali mali translation naman.

They cost around P500 each. I recommend buying the green book first bago yung blue book. :>
