Chapter Thirteen

“I’ve been hearing a few things Xavier” he starts, “And one of them involves a girl that happens to be your student”

Xavier freezes in his seat. Shit

“And it seems like you’ve been getting close to her”

He didn’t say anything at this point. He was afraid of what will happen. “B-”

He lifts his hand up stopping the words before Xavier could get them out, “So close that you’ve told her about us. And you know what happens”

“Boss, we all do respect but she’s just a kid, I-I don’t think you shoul-”

“Stop right there! You brought it onto yourself when you told her!”

“I had to!”

“Then you will pay the consequences!”

His eyes widen, “Boss pleas-”

“Out of my office now! I have a girl to track”

Clenching his teeth he leaves the room silently. No, no, he knew getting close to her was a fucking bad idea and now she will have to pay for it. He can’t let that happen. She meant too much for him. He only knew her for… five days but she made him feel an emotion he never thought he ever could. Taking out his phone he dials Leon’s number and waits only three seconds before his friend answered. “Leo, get to Lola now”

“Wh-”

“No questions right now! Just do it! And be unseen okay?”

“Alright, alright, I’ll, I’ll get her and…”

“Bring her to your house”

“Done”

Hanging up the phone he runs his fingers through his hair. What was he going to do now? He couldn’t just stay in his boss’s mansion and wait for the worst. He could just meet Leon half way…? He nods to himself before starting to walk towards the stairs. He knew Leon will find Lola wherever she was, he didn’t even have to tell his friend, after all he was a tracker.

Lola

Tears streamed down her face as she silently cried. She wasn’t the one to cry, actually she hated it but at that moment she could care less.

Her Andy, he was in a coma. Someone had hit him with the car and just drove away. Whoever that person was a fucking coward she thinks bitterly as more tears fell from her eyes. She didn’t even bother wiping them because she knew more would come. Closing her eyes she suddenly got a flashback to when she first met Andy

The eleven year old was seated in a room while she held her bear. She usually would never been seen with a stuffed animal but she was terrified and she needed something, anything familiar to hold onto, especially after the night she had. She was still shaken up but she didn’t cry. Crying showed weakness and she didn’t want to be weak

“Hello honey”

She jumps in her seat frightened from the sudden voice

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you”
