Lance planned a surprise dinner for his fiancé…

Instead of having dinner on an expensive restaurant somewhere, he just planned it to be in his friend’s condo unit where he is now currently staying…

After he called Madeline to inform her that he would pick her up at around 6pm later without telling her where they will go, he took a nap…

Madeline, on the other hand, felt nervous pagkatapos niyang malamang susunduin siya mamaya ni Lance.. what for?.. hindi niya maintindihan kung bakit nga ba siya kinakabahan? hindi pangkaraniwang kaba ang nararamdaman niya, at nagtataka siya kung bakit it feels like she has lost enthusiasm whenever Lance will be around her… dahil usually, she always feels ecstatic and inspired just upon the mere thought of having Lance as her boyfriend, she used to feel so excited whenever she gets to see Lance… pero ngayon, all the feelings that she used to feel for him are slowly changing….or fading?...

So she thought of calling her best friend, Charlotte…

“Hello, Charlie!...”, halata sa boses ni Madeline ang kaba,

“Hey, Maddie!.. oh, anong mayroon at kinakabahan ka dyan?...”, at huling huli siya ni Charlie

“eh, kasi… susunduin daw ako ni Lance mamaya eh…”, hindi pa rin maitago ni Madeline ang kaba

“Oh? may date kayo?? that’s good for you… eh ano namang bago doon? hello?! malapit na nga kayong ikasal eh.. less than two months na lang nga, diba?...”, Charlie said to her..

“eh oo nga.. p…pero.. hi..hindi ko alam… eh…ewan ko.. parang this is going to be a no ordinary date with him.. feeling ko..may….may mangyayari pang iba… or…or I don’t know…”, Madeline almost stuttered…

“eh ano namang ‘iba’?.. naku.. ikaw naman.. alam mo, feeling ko, you’re starting to have wedding jitters ngayon pa lang.. nako ahh.. hmm.. tigilan ang kapraningan, Madeline…”, Charlie advised

“hindi..hindi ako napapraning noh.. eh.. basta…”, Madeline can’t explain further… eh bakit nga ba kasi siya kinakabahan…

“teka nga.. Maddie… are you having change of feelings for Lance?.. nako ahh.. naku naku naku.. ‘wag mong sabihing…. inlove ka pa rin kay Andrew until now…. Madeline ahh.. umayos ayos ka dyan! magkapatid yang tinutuhog mo! nako!...”, nagegets na ni Charlie ang maaaring dahilan…

“hindi.. hindi ahh.. nako, Charlotte, tigil-tigilan mo nga ako!.. walang ganun… yung sa’min ni Andrew, past nay un.. tapos na..nakaraan na.. eeehh.. hindi! hindi.. basta!...”, Madeline still tries to convince herself na si Lance ang mahal niya… what she thought she was feeling for Andrew before Lance came home is just….just…. nothing… yeah… she just enjoyed his company a lot.. yeah… that’s it!.... just….nothing….??

“hay nako… ayan ka na naman eh… denial at its finest!... Wooooohh… sige paaaa… lokohin mo pa yang sarili mooooooh… ewan ko sa’yo Madeline!.. hmp!”, and Charlie hung up..
