PANEL ONE: Yanyo sneers, as Theo holds the gun to the boy's head.
YANYO: Now.
YANYO: Do I taste the rainbow, or NOT, fat man?
YANYO: Do I eat the god damn CANDY?
PANEL TWO: The Candymaker looks down, his face in shadow.
PANEL THREE: Same pov, he looks up, smiling.CANDYMAKER: Mr. Yanyo...
CANDYMAKER: You ate the candy twenty YEARS ago.
PANEL FOUR: Yanyo's face, shocked, not understanding. Small panel.YANYO: What?
YANYO: BULLshit.
CANDYMAKER (off-panel): It's true.
PANEL FIVE: The Candymaker takes Ray's free hand, the bloody hand that has been applying pressure to Terry's shoulder.
CANDYMAKER: Terry lives. The EMTs arrive in time.
CANDYMAKER: Terry and Ray strike up a friendship.
PANEL SIX: Terry and Ray's hands are now together. They are smiling.CANDYMAKER: They find each other. They fall in love, Mr. Yanyo.
PANEL SEVEN: Malcolm's face, smiling, healthy, still in Theo's grip. He is unconcerned.
CANDYMAKER (off-panel): Malcolm lives, as well.
CANDYMAKER (off-panel): Turns out a rare, fitting marrow donor died.
