Prince POV
After my alarm went off I got up and got dressed like an other day. I went downstairs to see my mom cooking breakfast.
Mom: good morning
Then She kissed me on my forehead
Mom: Did you have a good sleep?
Me: yeah it was great
Mom: Do you think you will ask out that girl today?
Me: yeah i think I will , I mean why wait .
Mom: that's my son, now eat your breakfast.
I ate my breakfast and left for school. Throughout the whole car ride I was trying to gain the courage for myself to go talk to her. When I pulled up to school I was ready. I got out and was greeted by ROC,Ej,Ray and Prod.
ROC: wassup
Me: I think im going to ask out Nikayla today?
Prod: bro you crazy ?
Ej: why would you even think that?
Ray: she a loser
Prod: she is not the one you suppose to be looking at
Roc: that is what you was suppose to be looking at
They turned me towards Nataile who was walking into school with her friends.
Me: yeah you right
We walked into school. Then I saw her and i it was indescribable how I felt for her. My emotions just took over my body and I found myself walking over to her.
Ciara: ugh what do you want?
Me: I wanted to talk to Nikayla
NaNa: what do you want Prince *rolls eyes*
ROC: what with the attitude little girl
Ray: yeah
NaNa: because every time y'all come over here y'all mess with us
Ciara: y'all never have anything nice to say
Me: actually I came over here to pay you a moment but now I'm rethinking my choice.
Ciara: whatever y'all have to say we dont care
Then Rosy walked up to us.
Rost: hey what's going on here?
Ciara: nothing new they just tryna mess with Nikayla again
Okay now I'm over here getting mad. We came over here tryna be nice and they gon' straight up treat us like this? Maybe Roc was right.
Roc : ain't nobody over here tryna mess with her if we wanted to mess with y'all we would've told y'all looked liked some colorful ass bunch of tulips
Then Me,Ray,Prod, and Ray started laughing while her friends stood there looking annoyed. Then I saw Natalie laughing by her locker,and I walked over to her.
Me: hey
Natalie blushed
Natalie: hey Prince
Me: I was wondering if you would let me take you out on a date this weeknd ?
Natalie: sure
Me: okay can I get your number so I can text you the details.
Natalie nodded and handed me her phone. Behind me I could hear Roc,Ray,Prod,and EJ cheering me on. Form the corner of my eye I saw Nikayla getting madder and madder by the second. But I don't understand why she is mad wasn't her and her friends just dogging me an my friends out. Why is she mad ?
Me: bye
Natalie: bye
Then I walked away back to where Prod,Ej,Roc, and Ray was . They all high fived me. Nikayla rolled her eyes.
Nana: let's go
So then her and her friends left
What did I do wrong?
