After the tutoring session I went home. I got into my mom's car and she drove off.
Mom: so how was it ?

Me: it was good mom.

Mom: she is pretty did you ask her out yet ?

Me: no mom I'm waiting for the right time.

Mom: does she even know you like her ?

Me: no and I plan to keep it that way

Mom: why?

Me: because she can ruin my reputation

Mom: oh so its all about staying cool

My mom pulled up to our house and parked the car. She then sat there deep in thought.

Mom: I don't understand

Me: well I don't have time to explain it to you I have to get ready for school like you said this morning

Mom: I know what I said

Me: okay then

I got out of the car and went to our front door . I unlocked the front door and went straight to my room. I prayed, changed into my PJs then went to bed. At least I tried I just couldn't stop thinking Nikayla. She was all I could think about. I drifted off to sleep thinking about her.
Then I woke up did my hygiene then headed downstairs for breakfast. I walked into the kitchen and seen a note taped to the refrigerator.
I got called into work early this morning sorry I couldn't cook you breakfast sweetie but if you just eat breakfast at school you should be fine. Tell NaNa I said hi and DON'T FORGET TO GIVE HER THE RED BASKET IN THE FRIDGE !! Love you always Mom ❤❤
I smiled at the note.I couldn't help think though Who is NaNa ? and why do I have to give her a red basket? I shrugged it off and opened the fridge to get the red basket . I'm guessing by the way she wrote on the note that I'm not I'm trouble so I get to take my car. I grabbed the red basket out of the fridge. I was about to open the basket but I seen another note on it

Hmm maybe its nothing. My phone vibrated in my pocket. I took it out my pocket and checked it.

I opened up the messaging app to text her back.

I didn't text back after that. Who is Bae? last time I checked I was single. I will find out when I go to school. I grabbed the red basket, grabbed my keys and left. I always keep my backpack in my car unless we have homework but that is barely so it stays in the same place. I locked the front door then went to my car. I placed the red basket in the passenger seat as I got into my car. I put my seat belt on and then started my car.

I pulled up to school and tried to get myself ready for the day ahead of me mentally and physically. Once I was ready I grabbed my backpack from the backseat and I stepped out my car and walked into school. The first person I seen was Nikayla And all I could think about was how beautiful and how lucky I am to have met her. I mean look at her she is perfect ,perfect in my eyes anyway. But I'm not going to tell her that. At least I thought . She turned around and ran up to me.
