A/N: Hey readers! This is just a short poem that I wrote my mum for mother's day. It was slightly rushed so please don't mind. Anyways, I hope you guys had a wonderful Mother's Day, and enjoyed with your family and friends.

Immortal

Beauty fades,

Personality doesn't last

Friends leave,

Time passes fast

Trust is broken,

Lovers lie and decieve

Only she loves you unconditionally,

from the day you were conceived

She watched you grow up,

and you'll watch her grow old

All those secrets, she kept,

and stories, she told

She held your hand tight,

in the dark at night

and provided you with comfort,

after you had a fight

But beauty faded,

and youth flew away

People left you,

with nothing to say

Then you took her hand,

as she promised to never let you fall

Because a mother's love,

outlives it all.
