This might be the fastest chapter I have ever written!

I hope you guys enjoy!

There hasn't been a single day that I have not thought about him. Yet after about two months, I stopped waiting for the Doctor. It was time for me to resume life as I had left it. Thing is the Doctor didn't drop me off in my old hometown but in London. I loved it here! Though there was one more accent I had to worry about. I had a job here and even a favorite pub. That's where I met Matt.

I had stumbled across him thinking that the Doctor had come back for me. I had jumped on him and hugged him when I realized it was another guy. I explained my mistake and from there we ended up talking for hours. It wasn't long after that he asked me to dinner and soon we were a regular couple. I didn't tell him anything though, about the six months I spent with the Doctor, our relationship, or my alien secret. But Matt was wonderful and kind and loving. He reminded me so much of the Doctor. Maybe that was why I would've spent the rest of my life with him, if one thing didn't happen.

"I'll be there in just a few minutes. I'm leaving the house now" I said into the phone, trying to slip on my shoes at the same time, "I love you, too. See you soon" I cut the line and admired myself in he mirror. I wore a skin tight red dress. My hair was straightened and silver earrings peeked out. I checked my make-up one last time, trying to ignore the small amounts of blue that showed through my color contacts. They weren't prescription but since the Doctor and I parted ways I could no longer look at my TARDIS blue eyes. I ran my fingers through my hair one more time, grabbed my keys and walked out the door. I jumped into my car and drove to Matt's house, where just me and him would celebrate my 22nd birthday. It was a quick ten minute trip and soon I pulled up in front of his apartment complex. I steeped out of the car and heard a whistle, but not a whistle from some random guy, a mechanical whistle.

"It's not what you think it is, Jazmine. You're just imagining it. Just have fun" I whispered to myself. I straightened my dress and walked the single flight of stairs to Matt's flat. I had a key and walked right in. He had prepared everything beautifully. A nice dinner was made up and the lights where low. Large red roses were everywhere and candles lit almost every corner in the room. I walked in and put my bag on the couch. Matt walked out of his room in a tux and bow tie, gleaming at me.

"You look gorgeous" he said, in his English accent

"You don't look to bad yourself." I replied. My hands wandered to his bow tie and I pulled it taunt. I had a flashback to the Crytane beaches.

"Well, are you ready to eat?" Matt asked me, clearly nervous. He had something in his pocket but I couldn't quite tell what it was. He led me to the table and pulled out the chair for me. I sat down and he put spaghetti on my plate, along with a couple meatballs.

"I not a chef so don't be surprised if it tastes horrible" he joked. He was a chef! Matt served himself. Both of us began to eat.

"This is delicious!" I said, wiping my mouth down with a napkin. "Thank you. I really appreciate it" My hand reached out and grabbed Matt's hand. He nodded. He shifted in his seat and stood up.

"Jazmine, I know we haven't been together for the longest time but I feel like we were meant for each other" Matt stated abruptly, "I love you more than I could express. But I can get close." He bent down slowly on one knee and pulled a box out of his pocket. I covered my mouth with my hands in shock. The box clicked open to show a beautiful diamond ring.

"Jazmine Elizabeth Guerro, will you..." Thats when I heard a familiar buzz. So maybe what I thought was whistling earlier, wasn't in my head. Just as Matt was about to finish the question, the Doctor walked in.

"What are you doing in here, mate?" Matt yelled, clearly annoyed. I stayed in my seat, looking at the Doctor as if it were an illusion.

"Well I was here to come back for Jaz but I guess it's too late now." The Doctor glared at me and that's when I knew it wasn't a dream. He walked out and slammed the door behind. Matt bent back down on his knee again and continued as if nothing had happened.

"Jazmine Elizabeth Guerro, will you..."

"No" I said without thinking. Matt's shocked face didn't surprise me. I quickly tore his key of my keychain and laid it one the table. I slipped off my heels, held them in one hand and my bag in the other.

"Why not?" Matt asked finally finding his voice and following me as I walked out the door.

"You're not him!" I yelled with a smile on my face. I ran as fast as I could in such a tight dress. "Doctor!" I screamed, trying to find the TARDIS. I ran straight into it. I ran through the doors and saw the Doctor, previously bent at the waist stand straight up. I dropped my shoes and bag and ran straight at him. Without a second thought, I crashed my mouth onto his. He pulled away quickly.

"What happened to that guy?" He asked, remnants of crying and anger still in his voice and on his face.

"Matt? He isn't you." I quickly explained. "Once I left, I couldn't even look at my own eyes. Matt reminded me so much of you it brought me comfort. As if I had you." I said, remembering the fateful day that I had left the Doctor. I slipped my contacts off and put then on the console.

"How long has it been for you?" I asked

"About a week"

"You wait a week and I wait a year. That's fair." I explained sarcastically

"You found yourself a new boy toy!" His voice began to raise. I hung my head down in shame. The Doctor slid his hand under my chin and raised my head up. He gathered me into a hug and kissed my forehead.

"I missed you so much!" He said

"And so did I" I meant every word I said to him. Tears of happiness rolled down my cheeks. The Doctor wiped them away with his thumb. All of a sudden, he let go of me and ran to another room. He came back with a necklace hanging from his fingers. The chain was simple but the stone that it held was bright yellow. It was the size of a grape but tear drop shaped. It glowed at even the smallest glint of light. I gently uraveled it from the Doctor's fingers and held it to the light. There was something engraved inside it.

"It's beautiful!" I exclaimed, awestruck. The Doctor took it from my hand and unclasped it. He dug a small trinket out of his pocket, a small screwdriver and slid it on to the chain. I raised my hair and he slipped it around my hair.

"The engraving in the stone changes to the name of the person it belongs to" he explained. He clasped it and let the necklace fall over my chest. I held the chain up to the light.

"Jazmine" I whispered, trying my best to trick the Doctor. My human name wasn't shown. It showed the name my father called me. My real name. My true name. The girl who couldn't have existed's name. The girl who became a flame and killed to save the people close to her. The name that meant light.
