I woke up the next Morning and had my usual Morning sickness. I slowly waddled out of the bed still in pain and twisted the door knob. The hell ?! The doors locked! Wait till I have this baby Roc's ass is mine! I looked around and found a trash can. I vomited into it. I sat down on the bed exhausted from the previous events. All I could do was think.. Whats going on? What the hell happened? Roc isnt like this.... im hungry. Just seconds later Roc came into the door with the darkest look in his eyes. " Good Morning" he smirked. I didn't answer. Im beyond scared. He walked up to me and kissed me roughly on the cheek. I winced in pain because thats the same cheek he slapped me on. "Damn I dont get no good morning T?". Hell no you don't get no good morning! "Roc, Im hungry" I said emotionless. "Oh yea thats right, you are carryin a jit.. Ill be back." He exited the room making sure he locked the door behind him. He came back in with a bowl of cereal in hand. I let A tear escape the corner of my eye. "Breakfast". "Roc why are you doing this?" I asked. He raised his hand causing me to flinch. He maliciously chuckled and walked towards the door. He made a quick U-turn on the heels of his feet "Now you see how I felt when you left me" he left and locked the door behind himself. I walked to the door and started banging on it "ROC LET ME OUT OF HERE ! PLEASE ! IM SORRY ! "
"T ! Wake up ! " Roc shook me. "IM SORRY ! " I screamed. "It was just a dream ! Snap out of it ! " he shouted over me. I shot up panting and sweating in our bed. "Are you okay ? " he questioned with a serious look of concern smeared onto his face. "Yea im good" I nodded. He hugged me in a hug. A hug the way your dad is supposed to when your afraid of the monsters under your bed. The kind that a friend gives you when they see you sitting in the back of the bus, music in your ears, and tears in your eyes. The kind that your husband gives you to reassure you that nobody or nothing can hurt you. The kind I've needed all my life "What was it about?" He asked. "I came home from my appointment and you were sitting at the kitchen table asking me where I was , and you hit me and locked me in the room and and ... i cant protect myself let Alone our baby , what if im not good enough ?" He cut me off. " Teyana " He called. I held my head down looking at my belly. He lifted my chin with his finger "Teyana look At me in my eyes". I did as he said. I saw a sincere , loving , kind and serious look. "I nor will I let anybody else hurt you. As long as the sun burns I will always be here for you And Im as positive as your pregnancy test that you will be the best mom to Chresanto Jr." Oh no "We're not naming him that " I laughed. "Wha- " I cut him off and kissed him. He is the love of my life! "Roc" . "Yes" . "He's kicking ! " I grabbed his hand and placed it on the left side of my belly. "Woah ..." he nervously smiled. "Don't worry you're gonna be a great daddy" I reassured. "I cant wait to meet him". Roc is just ... ugh ! If I could see my toes right now ... ok ok lemme stop. "We have to pick out a name for him". "Umm how about Jacob?" Really Roc ? "I think that name is already taken" I said sarcastically. "Fine.. how about Chres-" I cut him off. "Nope". I dont wanna name him that because its just the easy way out for lazy parents who are to lazy to come up with a name ! "Fine" he gave up. "How about ... Noah? " I don't know where it came from but it just sounded right . " baby Noah ?" He said unsure. "Yeah". " I like it, kinda got a ring to it... 'Come here Noah!' Yeahh I like it ". I looked down at my baby bump " Well looks like your new name is Noah.. I hope you like it " Roc began to rub my belly and smile. I love seeing him smile, we're finally gonna be a complete happy family ... All I ever wanted
