Chapter 17: ''Who is he!?''

2 months later..

3 days till Halloween!

Laurent's POV

I fell asleep in the lab, and didn't even realize it. I stayed up all night doing research, intense research. Larry is gone...I think I lost Larry..the 26 year old Larry, I think he's g-gone. He's been acting very childish, and he barely even can say my name right. Tiana said memory loss of important events in his life could be a side effect. I just hope on everything, that Larry comes back to me. The Larry I know, not the Larry I lost, not the Larry I knew when I was 8...I need mon frere, NOW!

Something taps on my shoulder, waking me up. I then hear a tiny voice, ''Hewwo? Bwother? Are you okway?'', someone says. I lift my head up and open my eyes. It was Larry, and my sleepy face started to slowly turn to tears. I look to Tiana who stood not too far away, she shakes her head in tears. She mouths to me, ''I'm sorry''. I look to Larry in tears, grabbing his shoulders. ''Larry?'', I said sadly. ''Who is that? Is that me?'', he said pointing at himself. I bust out into tears, standing from my chair, walking back and forward. Tiana walks over to me, hugging me as she comforted me, trying to stop my tears. Nothing could stop my tears at this point, knowing I just lost my brother...

''Laurent, we could still save him.'', Tiana says rubbing my back. ''How? He a kid, his memory fried. Once a memory is gone, it non come back, Tiana. Never ever ever ever!'', I said crying. ''But Laurent, we can change that. All we need to do is try harder.'', Tiana says rubbing my back. I shake my head, wiping my tears. ''Ugh fine, look, Laurent, I need to tell you something. I've been keeping it in for a while, but it just might at least raise your hopes.'', Tiana says. ''What is it?'', I ask serious. ''I can at least get Larry's memory back until we have a official go on the syrup being safe.'',  Tiana says. I hop up from my seat and looked at her crazy. ''W-What?!? Really??!'', I said happy. ''Yea, I never thought I would need to use my secret supply of anti reverse syrup, but now, I think we need it.'', Tiana says standing up. ''Where is it?!?'', I asked desperately. ''Taneko has it in her freezing chamber, which is located in her stomach.'', Tiana says. ''Taneko!'', I yell through the room. Tankeo walks into the room from the lab. ''Yes? I was requested?'', she says looking to Laurent. ''I need your assistance please'', I said picking up Larry. ''What is the task, sir?'', Taneko says walking towards me, stroking the side of Larry's face. ''I need you to inject Larry with the anit reverse syrup. Just get his memory back for now, please. Tiana told me you could do that.'', I said handing Larry to Taneko. She holds Larry on her hip, looking into his face, scanning it. ''Yes sir, I can put him through the sequence. But it is extremely risky and dangerous.'', Taneko says rubbing Larry's back. ''How come?'', Laurent ask. ''Well, the needle has some liquids that include some pretty powerful and strong ingredients, so I am required to put him to sleep before doing so. But, this injection can also cause death. As I said before the chemicals are very strong, and could possibly damage his nerves system, causing his body to shut down without you even knowing, cause his body will be asleep.'', Taneko explains, holding Larry closely. ''Taneko, I believe this patient is strong enough to handle the reverse sequence, let's just get this over with, ok?'', Tiana says. ''Yes ma'am.'', Taneko says bowing. Taneko leads us to the lab, and to a large object covered by a drape. Tiana approaches the drape and pulls it off a huge machine. A large light turns on from on top of it. ''What is that thing?'', Larry says confused, looking to Taneko. ''It's a big machine that will help you, baby Larry.'', Taneko says walking towards it. ''Really??'', Larry says in his cute baby voice. Taneko sits Larry in the cold metal chair, ''Yes, little one. You'll be better by Halloween'', Taneko whispers to Larry as she winks. ''Huh?'', Larry questions. Taneko smirks, strapping Larry's hands in the machine. She straps his feet as well as she kisses  Larry's head. Taneko presses a button the huge light that hovered over Larry. The chair turned to a table that lied  Larry's body out. I walk up to Larry, brushing my hands through his twist. You have fun at school today?'',I asked Larry. ''Yea, the teacher was really nice, she said I was the smartest in the class.'', Larry says giggling. ''Good boy'', I said smiling. ''Yea, plus there is this really pretty girl in my class that keeps looking at me.'', Larry says looking kinda confused. ''Oh really? Do you like her?'', I said laughing.  ''No, not really, she is really mean to me.'', Larry said serious. My laughing turned to a serious and confused look. ''Wait what? What does she do?'', I asked. ''She pushed me off the jungle gym once, and when I asked her politely to push my swing, she pushed me off of it. All the kids laughed at me, and she laughed too. I felt very very bad, and I cried.'', Larry said frowning. Taneko starts to assemble all her tools together. ''Well, do you know her name?'', I asked. ''Yes, her name is Jennifer Camps.'', Larry said looking to me. ''Oh really'', I said angry. ''Yea, she is a bully. And she told me to tell Tiana something.'', Larry said looking to Tiana. I as well look to Tiana, as she looks to Larry then me. ''Well what is it, Larry?'', Tiana said brushing through Larry's hair. ''She said, tell Tiana I hope everyday that she will one day die and feel my pain.'', Larry said innocently. Tiana angrily balls up her fist, looking to me. ''What does that mean, Tiana?'', Larry asked innocently. ''Oh nothing, sweety. Jennifer is just a bully to me too.'', Tiana said angrily to Larry, looking to me at the last sentence. ''Ok, just relax Larry, we're gonna make you better now, can you be a big boy and take it?'', I asked stroking through Larry's hair again. He nods his head and grins. ''Good boy'', I said smiling. Taneko walks over to Larry, massaging his shoulders first. Tiana grabs my hand and walks me far from the table. ''Tia whats wrong?'', I asked her. ''It's Jennifer, she is being a little bitch to Larry, and he has nothing to do with why!'', Tiana said stressed out. ''Look, chill sis, once Larry gets his memory back, he'll be fine, he'll handle her. Hopefully, if he even reacts to the syrup, it may not phase him, and he might not take any affect from it.'', Tiana says stressed out. ''Ugh, the best we can do is have faith.'',  I said angered. I look to Larry to make sure everything was going good. Taneko moves her hands up to Larry's neck, and pressures extremely hard, causing Larry's body to flinch and twitch for a second. ''Woah! What happened to Larry?!'', I said walking fast over to him. Tiana stops me, ''chill out, Taneko put his whole body to sleep.'', Tiana said calmly. ''So he is basically dead?'', I said worried. ''Well, not really. It's like being dead, but you can breathe.'', Tiana says nodding her head slowly. ''Oh, are you sure putting his body in a coma is going to help?'', I said confused. ''Yes, it will give the medicine a better chance to flow through his nerves. Now that he is in this 'coma' his nerves aren't so tense. So it will go straight to his brain system and try to throw all that positive stuff back in his mind.'', Tiana says smirking. ''Oh thats good'', I say happily. ''But, um, the process won't take just a minute, it may take a day or more.'', Tiana says uneasily. ''What?'', I said angry again. ''Aye, chill, at least it might work, right? It's better then having a 8 year old brother again.'', Tiana says giggling. ''I guess'', I signed. Taneko looks to us, and nods her head. ''Ok, that means Taneko is done with the operation. Now, Larry will be out for at least a day. Ok?'', Tiana says looking to me. ''Ok'', I said as I nodded my head. Taneko walks to both Tiana and I. ''His body was slightly tense, since Jennifer has been putting loads of stress on him. But other then that, due to his stress in school slightly raising and the side effects of a bad prototype, he won't awaken until Halloween.'', Taneko says. ''What?!?'', I said. ''I'm sorry Laurent, but your brother's body is in terrible shape. I was lucky enough to keep him stable for even 2 days, his body was so wore out, originally, it would've took 2 weeks.'', Taneko says to Laurent. ''Beautiful job, Taneko. I programmed you well.'', Tiana says shaking Taneko's hand. ''Thank you, doctor. I am honored to be one of your best inventions.'', Taneko says nodding her head. ''Anyway, Laurent, you need to go home, you've clearly been missing almost everyday to be here, I'm sure your girls have missed you. Liyah has been calling me lately as well. I had to make up several stories, so I know she'll be disappointed when you tell her that's all a lie.'', Tiana says laughing. ''Right, I'll go check on the girls. I mean, 2 months without sex. Wow, I know Terez must be horny as hell.'', I said laughing. ''Why do you think dildos were made, dear sir?'', Taneko says smirking. ''True'', I said before leaving.

Unlocking my door, I enter the mansion. ''I'm ho--'', I stopped as I seen something crazy! ''Oh hey Laurent'', Terez said as she played on the couch. I look as I seen Terez on the couch watching tv, with another nigga!! I look to see the mysterious male playfully sitting with Terez on the couch. ''Terez!'', I said slamming the door behind close. ''Who is he!?'', I said angry. ''He's my old friend, why? I'm not dating you, I'm dating your brother, stop being so hostile, damn.'', Terez said rolling her eyes. ''Who the hell is he, Terez?!? I will tell Larry your cheating if you don't tell me.'', I said getting angry. ''Who cares ,Larry might be cheating right now! We all know how Larry Nicolas Bourgeois is, of course he would cheat on me.'', Terez says hugging her male friend. ''I'm non playing no fuck games, Terez. Who the hell is he!'', I said stepping closer. The guy stands up, ''Aye dude, I don't know who the fuck you think you are talking to. But you talk to a lady with respect.'', the guy says. I look to him...here comes the beast.
