Chapter.26.

Callie P.o.v.

I woke up, bright lights in my eyes, sounds very unfamiliar.

I was scared.

"Ha-" my voice so dry I can't say anything. The lights in my eyes; I couldn't open them.

"Doctor!" A familiar rough voice yelled. "She's stirring."cHe added.

"Ms. Groff, how are you feeling?"

I tried to cough but. Nothing.

I sighted for some water, they got the memo and got me a glass.

"Good," I paused, "where is my baby? And what happened?" I questioned.

"Darcy is sleeping right here, see." Harry said pointing to the glass bed next to mine.

"What happened was when you were pushing the baby hit a nerve and caused you to pass out." The doctor looked at me.

"Any harm done to Darcy?" I asked my voice almost a whisper.

"Oh No! She is fine!" The doctor smiled.

"C-can I hold her, please." My voice a whisper.

"Yes."

Harry handed me Darcy as I lay in the hospital bed. Her warm body pressed to mine. Her breathing steady.

"I love you, Darcy." I whispered, she opened her eyes, blue.

"Harry."

"Yes love."

"I'm hungry." I smiled finding my voice.

"I'll run down to the cafeteria."

"I love you." I smiled, his lips grazed over mine, leaving a lingering spark.

"I love you too." He smiled.

Darcy stirred awake, letting out a small squeak.

"Callie?" A male voice whispered coming in.

"Yes?" I questioned.

"How are you feeling?" His grin irresistible.

"Lou?! I'm doing good!" I smiled, Darcy still in my arms.

"What's her name?" He smiles looking down at Darcy.

"Darcy Anne. Wanna hold her?" I looked into his eyes.

"Sure."

I handed him Darcy watched him look at her with awe, the slight twinkle in his eyes.

"Lou?"

"Hmm." He answered.

"Want to be the godfather?"

"Y-yes." He stuttered.

"Hello. I brought you a salad."

Harry said walking in.

"Thanks." I saw him look at Lou his jaw locked.

"What is he doing here?" Harry spat.

"He's the godfather and my best friend." I smiled.

His jaw softened.

"Okay." Was all he said.
