Mr. Jelk: Bedknobs and Broomsticks
Forgotten Disney Characters
Mr. Jelk is a character in Bedknobs and Broomsticks. He's the priest in Pepperinge Eye, who has a less than subtle crush on Miss Eglantine Price.
Jelk is first seen greeting Miss Eglantine Price, asking if he may meet her later this afternoon. The reason why he is explaining this to her is because of the spiritual needs to consider to which she explains to him that this wouldn't take long just as Price and the children leave. He then explains to Mrs. Hobday that one never admires Price so tremendously to which she explains that one also admires Price's house to which during the conversation, Hobday asks Jelk of how the vicar is feeling to which Jelk asks her that he is feeling better. Hobday asks him to know if he will be taking the vicar's place in the army, to which he decides not to due to his quinsy.
