We both lay on the dirt covered in anothers' blood and our own, as we started to die slowly. Cam was holding me tightly in his arms when he told me how he felt.

“I’ve loved you forever Emma. I loved you since we were kids, I loved you when we were teens, and I still love you now. Nothing has changed that. You hear me? Nothing. I’ve never wanted to tell you that because you were suppose to become something and I’ve never wanted to hold you back because I was nothing. I love you when you’re angry, joyful, when you feel sorrow; I even love you when you care for the dumbest things. I love everything about you. This past year being with you was the best thing in my life that I would never forget, I will cherish those memories all the way to my death bed…I was hoping you would just forget me when I left, but I should have known that you would have come.”

“I’m sorry Cam. It wasn’t supposed to happen like this.” I whispered softly as another tear streamed down my cheek.

“Don’t be sorry I wouldn’t give up any moment I had with you, not even this moment."
