The light blue celing fan spun around in circles, as it's simple purpose amused me. The thought of Serena holding the rose brought some hope to this dreary room. The sheer gray curtains that adorned the windows of the cruedly painted french doors that led out to the balcony flowed into the room, riding the gentle midnight breeze.

My thoughts of her flooded my mind like a tidal wave. I find it hard to believe that lust for a girl could affect me this way. I have absolutely no clue how she did this to me. No other girl has made me long for her as much as I do for Serena.

My life is only filled with lifeless expression and painful deppresion, sending me deeper into this sprialing abyss. Only Serena brings hope to my life. She utterly confuses me. I can't tell if she likes me back.

It's been two hours since I recieved her text. She said she was holding the rose? What does that mean? She thought it was sweet and cares about me, or that she just wanted to sympathesize for my hurt feelings....

I drop my phone off my bed, along with the comforter, pillows, sheets and most of my clothes. I lay against the scratchy surface of my mattress, resting my head against my knees. Curled in a ball, here I lay protected from the world. I take a deep breath, and as I release the oxygen from my lungs, I unravel from my cocoon.

Walking out onto the balcony, I stare out into the night sky, wishing apon every star that Serena could be here with me. Cure me of this internal poison, set me free into her world. To become a part of her, is what I could only long after as I return to my bedroom, chipping a bit of paint from these doors that lay as rusted as my soul. Until tomarrow, I must wait for my princess to rescue me. Save this prince from his internal tower. I have become the knight in distress.
