Pain, that's all I could feel. Every muscle ached to not move, every bone begged me to sleep.

Xavier was asleep peacefully beside me, his lips parted slightly, letting out little noises every once and awhile. I could see my mark on his neck, making me proud. I could now feel all of his emotions, like he could mine. The females marked the males after to ensure the mating process would be complete.

I run my hand through his hair, making him snuggle up to me. My bare legs get tangled with his, as he pulls me back to his chest. I could hear him mumbling nonsense words under his breath.

"How did you sleep?" He ask, still groggy from sleep.

"Fantastic." I respond, grabbing hold of his hand.

"Do feel okay?" Worry seeps into his voice.

"I'm fine."

He smirks against my neck, trying to place kisses to it, but I push him away.

"No, we have to be somewhere to be today." I scold.

"It's only like ten. We have to be there at three." He argues.

I honestly have no clue why he would even assume he had a chance. Xavier may be an alpha by blood, but I'm an alpha by personality. He hasn't even seen my most stubborn self.

"If I make you food will I have a chance?"

"No."

"We still have to talk about yesterday." He reminds me, frowning.

"I know." I reply quietly.

Xavier gets up from the bed, running a hand through his hair. He sighs, rolling his shoulders back and walking into the main area.

The cabin was small, not extravagant or fancy. It was a traditional cabin, with one bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen, a small table, a love seat, and a flat screen.

The bedroom, which was original all clean and didn't have a broken bed, was beautiful. I knew Xavier will call a maid once we leave, but something tells me that it will just happen again.

I sigh, getting up from the bed, I was only wearing his tshirt and a pair of boxers, but I was too sore to change, or care.

The smell of pancakes filled the small house quickly. I watch as Xavier cooks food, his muscles shifting as he does so. He was shirtless, but I don't mind.

"Stop eye raping me." He says, amusement clear in his voice.

"It's not rape if you enjoy it." I mutter, wrapping my arms around him.

"And enjoy it I do." I laugh at him, running my hand over his smooth chest. I could feel a few scars, probably from fights, other than that though, he was utterly flawless. I wish we didn't have to go anywhere today, all I wanted to do was watch movies with him. It also didn't belp that I could barley walk.

I don't care what anyone says about it, it's painful, so terribly painful.

"Hello, earth to Rose." I hear Xavier muse.

"Uh, what? Sorry, I uh..."

"You were thinking about how big I was, it's okay, I get it. It is reaction all the ladies have." He boosts, jokingly, but pain erupts in my chest thinking about his confession last night.

I take a step back from him, pushing myself against the table. It felt stupid feeling this way, since now it would be impossible for either of us to step away from our relationship.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to." He sends me an apolagentic look over his shoulder, but not leaving the pancakes.

"It's fine." I grit through clenched teeth. It hurt, more than anything, to think about it, and even when I want nothing more to forget, I can't. Last night after Xavier fell asleep, all I could think about was how I wanted to bash some skulls for touching my mate.
