the thinking hammock

I sit here, swinging side to side,

A few inches above the bottom.

my oh my don't ask me why,

I love the feeling of not being able to touch the ground.

If I were able to choose a desire,

I'd choose to be able to fly high above.

Over the seas, over the houses,

Be able to feel the wind in my hair.

I sit here, swinging side to side,

Looking at the nature all around me.

The nice felt pages of the book I'm reading "I am number Four",

Are in the palms of my hands.

If I were able to choose where I lived,

I'd choose a place with lots of nature.

Mountains and forests, to go hiking and go on an adventure.

I sit here, not moving at all.

Maybe I shouldn't dream to wish.

But live to dream.
