you say all these things like how you cared for me,
but I think you're confused with the definition of "care".
because if you really cared for somebody you would not only say it, but mean it.
And that's not what you did.
you looked me in the eyes and grinned holding the words that took me back to the place I'd never want to go back.
Don't pretend like you mean it, just to make your apology of a horrible
'sorry' that you never actually said.
Don't pretend to say all of these things that is untrue because the birds fly south when its winter and right now its cold and they're not here.
They probably left because of you.
Maybe your coldness affected the birds as well.
You're coldness look in your eyes when you stare at mine makes my bones create goose bumps and feel cold.
Maybe that's why they left when the season is spring because everything you look at freezes like the way you look at me.
I looked in your eyes and felt sorrow but thought to myself it's too late.
because what was yesterday is empty in my brain and what is tomorrow is another day, another day that will no longer be the same but possibly better than any other.
