The Darkness Within

I haven't eaten dinner or breakfast this morning and I'm starving. I heard stomping downstairs. Then, I heard a little girl screaming. That little girl was Kimmie. "Kimmie!" I screamed, jerking on the chains. My father soon brought Kimmie to the attic and chained her beside me. I stared at him until he left. "Ca..Cam, where are we?" Kimmie asked. "Someone kidnapped us." I told her. Her beautiful face was tear stained. "No. Don't cry again. I'll find a way out." I said. She sat down in the floor. "I'm scared." She said. "I know." I said, not wanting to tell her I was scared too. My dad brought us two small peaches. I gave mine to Kimmie. "Here." I said. She grabbed it from my hand slowly. I started to sing to her.
