Chapter 5: Day out

Emily's POV

''Come on dad'' i groaned he was taking to long for my liking. It was 12:50 and i couldn't wait till they got here i was so excited. ''I'm coming I'm coming'' My dad said walking out the house. He looked handsome, Anyone will think he was in his 30s but he past that centuries ago.

He wore blue Denim Jeans and a simple white t-shirt. his brown hair gelled back making his hazel eyes pop out. ''Looking good dad'' I said winking a him. ''I try Emmy, i try'' he said dramatically. ''Sure dad''

(HONK HONK) a horn sounded threw out the house, excitement bubbled in me and i couldn't help but jump in my spot. ''There Here'' I told my dad. as i grabbed my phone and wallet. Today was warm so i threw on some white H&M shorts and a my Red shirt which made my hair pop out. With my red converse.

We walked to my dads dark silver 2012 Chevy Equinox fuel Efficient Crossover. I loved this car it was simple great space. We drove to the front gate to see Lances Volvo with a bouncing Stace in the front.

''I see she's the bubbly type'' My dad chuckles. ''You have no idea.''I said smiling at my friends. ''Hey guys ready'' I asked as i got out the car. Dad closed the gate putting in the code and walked to where we were.

''Hi gorgeous, and if anyone is ready its this crazy women. She left a ass dent on my seat with all her bouncing'' Lance said getting out his car and embraced me i heard my dad laughing at what he said as he approached Lance.

''Hi son Im Kyle nice to meet you'' My dad said shaking Lance hand. ''Hi sir I'm Lance and this weirdo is Stacey'' he said pointing at Stace while she pouted. ''I em not and its nice to meet you Sir''..''Please i feel old getting called sir its kyle'' They both nodded and smiled.

''lets get this show on the road Before she brakes my car'' Lance said chuckling ''Ow Stace really'' He said rubbing the back of his head. ''You jerk..You want another one, come on just say something'' Stacey said her hand up ready to strike.

Dad and i laughed at the two in front of us it was weird seeing them like that almost natural. i studied Lance for a second and couldn't help but think he looked like my dad Stacey also but only her nose and lips. I laughed at myself as i walked back to the car. This was going to be a fun Day Out.

''Well Emmy you girls go look for your dress and Me and Lance will look for tuxes will meet here in a hour'' My dad said looking at his watch. Lance looked a little nervous but i gave him an it-OK smile.

''Okay than we can get something to eat after i know ill be starved like the last time i went dress shopping with this one'' I said pointing behind me. ''I see today is pick on Stacey day'' She huffed causing us to chuckle.

We parted ways , Me and Stacey made our way to 'Claudia's Place' It was huge and all dresses from Regular party's to weddings. ''God this story is amazing Emily but.. Its to expensive'' Stacey said frowning.

''Its okay Stacey My dad said everything is on him so choose what you want same goes for Lance'' i told her honestly my dad was the greatest as you can see. ''No way'' she said shocked. ''Way'' i replied. ''NO like no way. Everything. Shoes and dress?''

''Yes way. And yes. Now stop getting white on me'' We both burst out laughing as we started walking towards the graduation dresses everything was so beautiful and elegant. Stacey and i tried many of them but non caught our attention. Until my eyes locked on a beautiful Royal blue Dress.

''Omg i think i found my dress'' I told Stacey excitedly. I grabbed the dress examining the details. ''Wow Emily its beautiful try it on'' She said pushing me to the fitting room. I stripped once more hoping it'll be my last.
