Wow. His dad is really strict... This will take some getting used to..' I think to myself before going to bed. When I wake up, I hear the door slam. I walk into the kitchen and see Lucas there sitting in a chair.

"What happened?" I ask.

"My dad. He has anger issues and sometimes when he gets to andry, he storms out of the house for about 30 minutes. It happens a lot to be honest." He says.

"Wow. I had no idea." I say.

"Yeah. And when he's out, no one is allowed to leave the house." He said.

"I wasn't planning on it." I say.

"While we're here, wanna hang out? I can get to know more about you, seeing how I don't really know about you." He says with a smile.

"Sure!" I say happily.

We go into the living room and sit on the couch.

"Tell me about you." He said.

"Well, I support gender equality, I like to help others, I believe that there's good in everything and everyone. I always give second chances. I believe that people change people. I know I have a voice, and I know that I'm not afraid to use it." I say.

"Wow. A girl who believes in basically everything. Who kbows she has a voice, can do anything, and stands up for what she believes in. That's a good person to be." He says with a smile.

"Yeah. I've been told that." I say to him.
