It's amazing,
this world we live in
we rob, cheat, steal and yet its still giving.
It's amazing,
this world we live in,
can you imagine if God unleashed his wrath at every sin what would happen?
It's amazing,
how the birds can sing,
but yet we go bird hunting.
It's amazing,
how we preach and teach with our right hand and with our left we're killing,
"Do as you're told son, don't do what I do"
but that's confusing 'cause I look up to you,
To guide, visualize and moralize
and you've been doing is spreading lies,
And I must emphasize that it would not be wise for you to look down upon me with those judging hateful eyes.
It's amazing, isn't it
we always thouht the old be wise but some of them are just dummies in disguise,
Puppets of a grand puppeteer
who pulls the strings, speak now, sleep now, go there, the color of your skin doesn't fit in here.
It's amazing,
how I can sit here and write this poem that even if shared will never make me famous,
but what's fame if the truth isn't told,
