Chapter 1

It's been 2 years since Sonic and Shadow started dating. And today is a very special day, yes, it's their anniversary.

-Somewhere in G.U.N. HQ-

Shadow just finished a mission and was about to hand his report to the general. When he did, he quickly walked to the exit, excited to see his boyfriend. When he got outside he was about to run home, but ...

Rouge: "Hey, Shadow !"

Shadow turned around and saw Rouge walking towards him, with a gift box.

Shadow: "Yes, Rouge ?"
Rouge: "Here. For you and Sonic *wink*"
Shadow: "A gift ?"
Rouge: "Yeah. For your anniversary."
Shadow: "... *blink*"
Rouge: " ... Don't tell me you forgot your anniversary ..."
Shadow: "Shit."
Rouge: "*sigh* Really ?"
Shadow: "... Would flowers be okay ?"
Rouge: "Hmm ... I don't know. He's not my boyfriend ... Well, gotta go. See you around !"
Shadow: " Yeah. Thanks for the gift"

When Rouge flew away, Shadow ran towards a flower shop.

-At SxS house-
(I'm calling Sonic and Shadow's house "SxS" since they are now living together.)

Sonic: "Hmm ... Where did I put it ???"

Sonic was looking for something inside the closet. (Who has an idea on what it is ?) Sonic sighed in defeat.

Sonic: 'Hmm ... Wow, look at the time. I've been looking for two hours'

When he was about to stand up, he noticed a paper bag, hidden at the very back of the closet.

Sonic: "There you are !"

Sonic took the paper bag and went inside the bathroom.

-At the flower shop-

"Welcome to Rabbit's Garden !"

Shadow was greeted as he enter the lovely flower shop.

Shadow: "Hello, Vanilla."
Vanilla: " Oh, Shadow. Hello ! How are you ?"
Shadow: "I'm fine. Where's Cream ?"
Vanilla: "Oh, she's at Amy's house."
Shadow: "Again ? She's been going there for the two weeks. Did something happen ?"
Vanilla: "Hmm ? You don't know ?"
Shadow: "Know what ?"
Vanilla: "Silver and Blaze started dating two weeks ago ..."
Shadow: "... Silver broke up with her ..."
Vanilla: "*sigh* Yes. I hope she moves on soon."
Shadow: "Hmph. She should ..."
Vanilla: "... So, are you here to buy flowers ?"
Shadow: "Oh, I am. How much for the Baby Romantica ?"
(Has anyone watched Junjou Romantica ?)
Vanilla: "Just --- dollars" (I don't know the price)

Shadow gave her the money and Vanilla handed him the bouquet of Baby Romantica.

Vanilla: "Thank you for shopping !"
Shadow: "*nod*"

Shadow went out of the shop and ran towards their house with the bouquet in his hands.

-At SxS House-

Sonic just finished cooking and was sitting on the couch, waiting for his boyfriend to come home.

Shadow unlocked the door and when he was inside, he was hugged by the one he loved. He hugged him back.

Sonic: "Welcome Home ... Master~"
Shadow: " *smirk* Haven't seen you like this in a while."
Sonic: "*giggle*"

Shadow kissed Sonic and Sonic kissed back. Shadow licked Sonic's lip, but Sonic broke the kiss.

Shadow: "*pout* What's wrong ?"
Sonic: "Let's eat dinner first. And if you eat your broccoli/s (Broccolis ? ...) then maybe I can let you be a little rough on me tonight ..."
Shadow: "... But I hate broccoli ..."
Sonic: "Then no 'desert'"
Shadow: "*sigh* Fine ..."
Sonic: "*giggle*"

Sonic noticed the bouquet of Baby Romantica and his eyes started to sparkle.

Sonic: "Are those ... ?"
Shadow: "Hmm ? Oh. I almost forgot ..."

Shadow gave the flowers to Sonic and kissed his forehead.

Shadow: "Happy Anniversary."
Sonic: "*blush* Happy Anniversary."
They were about to kiss again, but Shadow's phone rang. It was Rouge. Shadow muttered 'Damn it' before answering.

Shadow: "Hello ?"
Rouge: "SHADOW ! SCOURGE ESCAPED FROM PRISON !"
Shadow: "WHAT !?"
