Chapter 23 Katie

"Luke!" I laughed chasing after him. He stole my ice cream and took off down the beach.

Luke had taken me out to dinner then out for ice cream for our date. When we got to the ice cream shop he ordered my favorite ice cream, chocolate chip cookie dough, I didn't know he even knew that was my favorite. When we got outside he stole white of my ice cream and I complained about it so he took the whole thing.

"This is what happens when you don't share!" He laughed and took another bite of my ice cream

I grabbed ahold of his waist and stopped him from running. He turned around and I held him by his waist. I made a pouty face at him and he laughed. "You know your cute when your pouting." He fed me a bite of ice cream "see I share."

"No you didn't share you stole it." I commented

He laughed at me and fed me another bite. I smiled at him content. I realized how happy I have been since we left his house and it's kinda nice.

Luke threw away the empty ice cream cup and grabbed a hold of my waste and pulled me closer to him. He looked down at me with some sort of awe in his eyes. "Your so beautiful Princess" I couldn't help my smile that crept across my face. He brought his hand up and rested it on my cheek. I looked at his eyes and saw them flicker down to my lips. I felt my heart beat pick up speed and I began to get nervous. I glanced down at his lips and thought about how great it would feel to kiss him. How good his warm pink lips would feel on mine. I felt his thumb run across my bottom lip. The action made my bite my bottom lip and look at him. He leaned closer to me once again looking at my lips. I brought my hands up and placed them on his cheeks. His lips brushed mine and I pulled him to me and kissed him hard. I was tired of waiting. His lips fit so perfect to mine. I felt sparks flow through my body. I thought the kiss on set was good but this was amazing. He licked my bottom lip and I was about to let him in when I felt my phone buzz.

I pulled away and answered my phone.
"Hello?"

"Katie! Meet us at the hospital in ten minutes, it's Kilie." With that Drew hung up

My heart sank, something happened! Something happened and I wasn't there to keep her safe! I should have stayed home with her.

"What happened?" Luke asked

"We have to go it's Kilie." I stated as I turned walking towards the car

On the drive to the hospital we didn't talk. I really didn't feel like talking and Luke respected that. I just wanted to sit in silence and think about everything that was going on. When we got to the hospital Lucas dropped me off at the door and I ran in looking around for Drew. I spotted him laughing and smiling with my parents. Why are they smiling Kilie is back in the hospital. I walked over and confronted them.

"Why are you guys smiling? Kilie is in the hospital again! This isn't good!" I simi yelled

" Katie, Kilie got her memory back! She is gonna be fine!" Drew said

I froze. I was frozen. She was ok? She got her memory back. " are you serious?" I felt myself smiling so hard I felt like I was ripping my face

"What's going on?" Luke came from behind me and asked

I turned around and hugged him tightly and laughed and cried with joy. I was so happy! Kilie was ok! I was so sure something bad happened to her. "Kilie got her memory back!"

"That's amazing! Have you seen her?" He asked

"Not yet," I turned to my parents "when can I see her?"

"Come on"  Drew motioned for me to follow him.

We walked into what I assume is Kilies room. I saw her sitting on a bed eating some yogurt.

"Kilie?" I questioned

"You have some explaining to do young lady, now that I have my memory back I know you and Lucas have been hanging out. Um excuse me, you hate him." She said crossing her ams

I couldn't even come up with a reply! I just ran over to Kilie and hugged her. If she knew I hated Luke then she really has her memory back.

"It's good to have you back." I said

She hugged me back "it's good to be back sis."
