Trapped

CH16: True enough?

     Back at the Wild Thorn pack house a few of the skyline members were repairing the back door. James, Eric, Jack, Sarah, and Lilly had a meeting in the dining room. It was nothing but chaos. Cris and Jack had gotten into a screaming match! "What do you mean a girl! She never said anything!"

     "Why would she have to its freaking apparent!"

    "When she crashed into Damon. She didn't!"
Lilly broke in shouting! "Her brother is an idiot and a jackass!" Sarah spoke quietly and coldly. "I hate to say it. Over the last few years slowly Damon has become self-impetuant. Then after finding that girl."

     James who had been sitting quietly and taking in everything. Opened his eyes spoke. "Girl?" Sarah looked at him . "Yea. One morning he had this huge episode, freaked out, and passed out."

"What had happened?" Sarah looked at everyone. Eric brought tea and coffee over.
      "What are you hiding." He asked handing her a cup. Dozens of thoughts ran threw her head. She didn't know how much her brothers knew and didn't want to start problems between both packs. Thankfully Lilly piped up. "Damon was on the ground screaming nonsense. He cried out for her but he didn't know whom for.

     They all talked for hours upon hours. The two girls and jack had explained every last thing that had happened over the last months. Damon had stopped training, staying out late. Not coming back for weeks at a time. Losing control and attacking pack members at any little thing. Jack had to take control of the entire pack. With everyone in skyline and Wild Thorn being on high alert with the encroaching rogues, No one was able to keep track of Damon. Jack explained.

     "The trackers had picked up movement along the borders high in the moutons." Jack explained. "They've kept their movements discreet and slow." Eric responded. "How deep."

     "Deep enough for it to be almost impossible to fallow." James who had been cordenating all this information.    
     With His eye clear icy-ness full of what might have been fear or fury, maybe both. Said what had been on everyone's mind.
     "With Damon being as malenagent as he has been. Will he be able to protect my sister?" Jack paused. Running his hand over the back of his dark neck rolling his head. "I- I don't know." Growls erupted from the two younger twins. Cris was tremmoring, while Eric's nails dug into the hard wooden will table. James gave them a hard look silencing them. "Continue."

     "I don't know about him, himself. But one thing I do know is Damon, and his wolf would never do anything to harm a girl. In any way, shape or form. Excuse me I have someone calling me on mind link."

     Jack got up fallowed by Sarah and Lilly, once out of the door and earshot Sarah whispered to Jack. "Do you really think Day will be able to protect her if anything happens?" His deep burning eyes were hard. "I don't know. Maybe, lets just pray to the moon goddess that he's found out long before I did."
