I helped Cals study so she could graduate on time, with all the missed classes and all. Sometimes we got distracted, but that's another story. Long story short, she graduated on time and we got a long road ahead of us.
"Cali if you don't bring yo ass on ima leave you" I said honking the horn. My mom ran out a bag and kissed my cheek for the seventeenth time.
"My baby, I'm so proud " she said almost crying.
"Ma, you done cried four times today already. I'll be fine" I said kissing her forehead.
"Bye falcon face " Sierra said pinching my cheek.
"Bye beetle breath" I said pulling her ear.
"You better stay away from boys, I'm not playing with you, you hear me?" I said mugging her.
"Blah blah blah, whatever twinkle toes" she said sticking her tongue out.
"You just mad my toes don't look like hawk claws" I shot back.
Cali finally came out with her parents behind her. Her moms was crying and her pops looked sad. She said her goodbyes and hopped in the car. I pulled out of the driveway and headed toward the freeway.
Life is just beginning.
