Naruto slumped into a corner of his mindscape, the very picture of dejection. His grand adventure for the Poor Man's Tamatebako had culminated in a comedically tragic twist, leaving him with nothing but a piece of used toilet paper to show for his troubles.
However, his gloom was short-lived; the Mind of Nirvana skill, always a double-edged sword, washed a calming wave over him, robbing him even of the satisfaction of wallowing in his misery.
"Damn you, Mind of Nirvana," he grumbled under his breath, "can't even let a guy be depressed about trading most of his magic stash for crappy toilet paper. Literally." He cast a wary glance back at the system shop, his enthusiasm dampened by the recent fiasco.
"The Poor Man's Tamatebako cost so much, I don't even want to think about what the other items might do to my inventory. Or my sanity."
Yet, the spark of a shinobi's determination — or perhaps just sheer stubbornness — flickered within him.
The thought of trading more of 9 of Demon Masks lingered at the back of his mind.
Nine out of the 19 remaining Demon masks were replicas, after all, and they were just sitting there collecting dust in his inventory.
It's not like having 2 sets is going to make it better.
"Could nine more Demon Masks net me two skills and a feat?" he pondered, scratching his head as if the answer might physically fall out.
"Well, only one way to find out."
