Chan's words have definitely shook many people around there. He was the best racer among them and he was so passionate about racing. But now he said he would quit racing without any guilty expression made them wonder what was the truth behind his actions

"This is my own will and I'm not forced by anyone. It's about my time to quit it and concentrate on much more important things in my life" he said and he still could hear some murmurs around him

"I thank all my fans here and I am happy with my decision and wish you all would respect that" he said and stepped back. He heard a series of claps and he smiled a little. The people around him respected him and his decisions.

He signalled Hyunsuk something who just nodded his head. "Come on Yn, let's wait outside" he said and she nodded her head. She gave one last glance at him and followed Hyunsuk outside.

Yeonjun and Hyunsuk kept her busy by talking random things with her. She was already comfortable and safe around both of them. While talking she felt someone kept their jacket on the shoulder neatly to prevent her from getting cold

She turned around and saw Chan, who was now only on his tees. He smiled at her and pecked her forehead. He snaked his arms around her waist and turned towards his friends. "I'll meet you guys tomorrow" he said and his friends nodded their head understandingly

Then Chan took her towards his bike and sat down later making her sit behind him. He started the bike and rode towards a destination.
He stopped near a park which was next to the Han river. He held her hands and they walked inside the park

There was a particular spot where the people could sit on the grass and enjoy the view of the river. There were Sakura trees along the pathway but the leaves were green as it was not spring season yet.

They sat down under a tree and gazed around. There weren't many people around but they could spot some couples or families having their time. The full moon gave a beautiful reflection on the Han river and the gentle breeze would make ripples on the surface of the water

The stars were twinkling brightly all around the dark blue sky, igniting the beauty of the full moon and the dark sky. They could smell the fresh smell of water mixed with the nature around them and a faint smell of flowers

Chan interlocked their fingers and pulled her closer. He wrapped his arms around her waist. He still needed even more closeness, so he ended up pulling her on his lap
He let his back rest on the tree trunk and his arms were wrapped around her waist

She let her head rest on his chest while she sat on his lap. She hugged his hands which were resting on her stomach and smiled at the situation

"Did i upset you?" She decided to break the silence and he chuckled lowly at her question "Why would you love?" He asked her while caressing her left wrist "Aunt Yeohee said you loved racing, but why did you quit. Is it because I attended it this time?" She asked and he shook his head

"It's something I wanted to do for a long time, but I was waiting for the right moment" he said and she kept quiet and let him speak about the reason to her

"I learnt racing from uncle Rang. He was also passionate about racing in his teenage days. Then he met aunt and he would sometimes take her to the racing. Aunt Yeohee was always concerned about Uncle, but he would always ensure her about his safety" Chan said and hugged her tightly seeking for her comfort and she held his hand

"One day uncle's bike had an issue and he met with a terrible accident during the race. He was seriously injured. My dad admitted him to the hospital and uncle was just married to aunt three months ago before this incident. Aunt had a hard time recovering from the fact that uncle had met with an accident. After his discharge aunt refused to look at his face because the bruises on his face would mentally stab her heart and uncle couldn't bear the fact that aunt was not even looking at him. It pained him that his love was not ready to look at him" he explained and Yn just nodded her head feeling bad for both his uncle and aunt

"So after a month he forcefully dragged her towards the course. My aunt refused and gave him a cold shoulder but he was so stubborn. She thought he would race again, but before the race would start he announced that he would officially quit racing that day. Until now he never entered the racing track" Chan completed the story making her hum

"When did you start racing?" She asked which made him smile "I was just one year old when my uncle met with an accident. When i came into my teen days I learnt he was a racer and I was so persistent to learn from him. Then he was the one who taught me how to ride a bike and race in tracks. My family was against it but uncle Rang stood for me and let me enter into the racing world." He said and smiled thinking about the time when his uncle and dad fought with each other just for him then his family let him race

"I still remember what uncle Rang said in my first race" he said "What did he tell you" she asked curiously and he chuckled a little "One day you will also meet your Yeohee and you will have a day in your life, the day when that person will become more important to you than racing. He even told me racing should be taken as a hobby not passion. Passion needs dedication and i only want to be passionate about something which makes you proud not scared" he confessed and she had tears in her eyes

"Don't worry, he also realised the day he left racing and today I realised it and I'm happy with my decision. Aren't you happy" he asked turning her around. She was still sitting on his lap and she slung her arms around his neck

"I felt bad for the girl who saw her boyfriend getting hurt. For a moment I thought what if I was in the same situation and it made me feel scared" she said he caressed her cheeks and shook his head

"Now you don't have to be scared about anything okay" he asked and she nodded her head. Chan then deeply gazed at her within a second getting lost in it. Her black eyes looked like an ocean. The only ocean which he wouldn't regret drowning into

He tucked a loose strand of her hair behind her ear and caressed her cheeks. Yn saw he was staring deeply into her eyes. She could see genuine feelings radiating from him. Her cheeks slowly started to gain a faint pink tint and she gazed towards her side

Chan didn't wanted to break the contact and he held her chin gently and turned her towards himself. He slowly pulled her closer and closed the distance between them

He gently placed his lips on hers and started kissing her with love and passion. She held him closer and reciprocated the kiss making him smile. He tilted his head more to find a better angle and continued kissing her

The cold wind blew gently making her shiver and move more closer towards him. Her body was completely pressed on his and he enjoyed every bit of it. After a minute he broke the kiss and gazed at her lovingly. He held her cheeks and placed a peck on her forehead and smiled gently at her

She hugged her making him respond and hold her in his embrace
"I have a surprise for you tomorrow" he said while still holding her in his embrace
"What is it" she asked curiously and she played with the end of his hair behind his neck

"It's called surprise for a reason love" he chuckled and said making her pout. He heard a small 'okay' which made him smile
He was eager for the surprise which he prepared especially for her and he was waiting the night to end soon, letting the sun graze the sky so he could show happiness towards his lover.
