Chan had just had his dinner with his uncle and he decided to watch television in his room.
Time had passed and he noticed it was 1 am. He decided to sleep and he turned off the tv
He pulled the comforter on him and closed his eyes. After half an hour he felt his phone was ringing. He frowned and opened his eyes. He slightly rubbed his eyes and picked the call without noticing the caller
"Hello?" He spoke and yawned a little "Were you sleeping Chan?" He heard a soft voice which was coming as a whisper. He saw the caller id and turned towards the clock which was showing 1:30 am
"Yn? What are you doing at this time. Aren't you asleep?" He asked as she giggled lightly "Chanie, am craving ice cream. Will you come with me?"
She asked in a whisper as he sighed
"It's too late Yn. Go to sleep" he said and she pouted "Are you coming or not?" she asked "No" he simply answered as she scoffed "Fine, I'll go by myself" saying that she ended the call making Chan's eye widen
"Hello? Hello Yn. Shit" he cursed and saw she had already ended the call. "She won't go right?" He asked himself and again lay down on his bed and pulled his comforter again and closed his eyes. After two seconds "Damnit" he said and got up hurriedly and grabbed his jacket
He slowly got out of his room and went downstairs without making noise. He slowly went to his garage and took his bike out. He rode towards the conventional store which he predicted for her to be as all the stores would be closed
He parked his bike and went inside the 24 hour conventional store. It was the same conventional store where he saw Yn for the first time getting drenched and playing in rain
He entered inside and found Yn sitting on one of the chairs while licking her ice cream. She gazed at him and saw his serious expression and turned around. He took a seat next to her and sat with the same expression
"Are you serious, it's literally midnight and it's not safe for you" he said and she turned towards him and pouted "I was craving for it Chan. Don't be a meanie" she said making him sigh and she passed him another ice cream
"I knew you would come so i already bought it for you" she said and he took the ice cream from her hand and smiled making her smile too. They both ate their ice cream in silence while watching the empty street from the glass wall of the store
After eating they discarded the plastic and went outside the store. Chan watched the place where she was swaying her body when he saw her for the first time, then he turned towards Yn who was walking next to him
Chan stopped near his bike and held her wrist. "I'll drop you" he said and was about to sit on his bike "Wait" he stopped and turned towards her "If we ride the bike we would reach soon and I want to spend some time with you" she asked making him frown "What should I do? Carry my bike and walk with you" he said and she glared at him and turned around while crossing her arms over her chest
Chan chuckled at her childishness"Okay okay, I'll push this along with me so we can walk and talk okay?" He said making her smile and nod her head
Soon they both started walking as Chan was pushing his bike while holding the handle of the bike. "Are you free tomorrow?" She asked him "I'm going to the office with dad" he said as she nodded her head
"But I'm free in the evening, and I can meet you" he said making her nod her head with a broad smile
They talked for a while and they reached her house. She stopped and turned towards him who had already sat on his bike and waiting for her to talk "Doyoung is having sleepover in Jungwoo house, so I called you" she said as he just nodded his head
"If I call you again at midnight will you come?" She asked being excited as he nodded his head "At 2 am?" She asked showing her two fingers as he chuckled and nodded his head "3 am?" She asked again while showing these fingers making him sigh
He turned towards the name board hanging outside the house gate "Kim Shin" he shouted making Yn panic and she ran and opened her gate making Chan chuckle
He started his bike and turned towards her. She peaked from the gate "Do you want me to drop you?" She asked playfully as he signalled he will shout again making her shake her head rapidly and she ran inside her house
Chan chuckled at her and decided to go back to his house.
As soon as he reached his room, he removed his jacket and jumped on the bed and closed his eyes, but he received a call and he sighed and saw the caller id
He smiled and picked the call "Chanie, did you reach?" She asked making him smile. He loved every bit of it. Even though he was sleepy, after hearing her voice his sleep vanished in a second. "Yes, I reached" he answered softly making her smile
Then she started ranting about an old story about her and her brother while he listened patiently to her. He was laughing at her jokes and smiled at her clumsiness and pranks that she had pulled in the past.
He didn't realise he was lying on his stomach while his legs below is knees were swinging back and forth while talking to her.
The world seemed completely blurred to both of them as they continued talking on the phone
After what felt like hours he heard a soft snore and he smiled "Good night Sarang" he softly muttered and ended the call
He turned towards the clock '03:45' and sighed
He decided to sleep and closed his eyes. A small smile formed in his face and he drifted to his dreamland thinking about her
Indeed he was falling hard for her
