WHEN WE ENTERED THE HOUSE I SET MY bag down before heading into the kitchen with the kids coming in and Dominik as well "anya can you make lángos please." The kids begged "sure but you guys have to finish it alright?"

They nodded happily causing me to laugh "okay go upstairs and settle down." I tell them "you taught them Hungarian?" He asked suprised "we lived in Hungary for 3 years." I tell him. "Why?" He asked

"I wanted them to have more of you then just last names and looks, I wanted them to learn about your culture, and your language." I said while preparing the dish. "I'm sorry I couldn't be there for them." Dominik said to me

"Im the one who didn't let you in." I said as I put the bread in the oven. "You think the kids deserves to know?" Dominik asked me a question I never thought I would answer, atleast not when they're four.

"Yes." I mumbled looking down "then maybe we could tell them." He suggest "I don't think now, but I can let you spend more time with them to create a bond with them before we announce it to them" I tell him "sure." He agreed.

"How about I help you?" He asked "what do you know about cooking?" I joked causing him to laugh, "atleast I can still plate it. And pour drinks" he said

"Okay fine, here's the cups can you pour them orange juice in the fridge." I asked as I handed him the cups "sure." He smiled. I can't believe how fast me and him still bonded after all this time.

When i finished I called the kids down and set the plates on the table before sitting down. "Eat and then you have to take medicine." I said to Louis

"I don't want to take medicine." He pouted "you're gonna get sick if you don't." I sternly said "yeah but it taste disgusting." He rolled his eyes "yeah it does." Aurelia agreed. I laughed as I kicked Dominik under the table

"You fixed your attitude and it spread to them now." I jokingly glared at him causing him to laugh "how about you fake a cough and you get to drink cough syrup instead, that tastes better." Dominik convinced Louis

"Don't tell them to do that!" I laughed "eat before the food gets cold." I changed the topic after the kids finished they bought their dishes to the sink and I did the same with mine as well as Dominik.

"Cherry, grape, or orange Lou?" I asked on the flavor of medicine "none it all taste disgusting." He laughed. I rolled my eyes at him "fine cherry."

I smiled and grabbed the bottle pouring it out into a medicine cup, Dominik came over with a glass of water "thanks." I smiled "come." I tell Louis he stomped his way over and I handed him the medicine

He drank it and made the worst faces "you're so dramatic, wait til you get to adult medicine." I laughed "I'm staying with kids medicine forever then." He pouted crossing his arms causing both me and Dominik to laugh. "Anya I'm tired I'm going to head to bed." Aurelia tells me "mhm make sure to wake up early so you can sleep at night."

She hugged me before heading upstairs "me too!" Louis said excitedly running upstairs "careful!" I yelled out. I couldn't help but my eyes travelled down to Dominik's ring finger to see he still had our wedding band on

"You're still wearing your band?" I asked "mhm I don't wanna take it off." He answered looking at my hand "don't worry I'm still wearing it." I grinned

That's when Dominik got up and went to hug me, I was a little taken back but hugged him back, and oh my god, I missed being in his arms "can we please try again?" He whispered "baby steps." I said "baby steps." He repeated before pulling away with a huge smile on his face,

"I noticed you aren't wearing you tie?" I laughed "you said you like me without a tie better than with a tie." He smiled "you remember?" I asked shocked "of course I do." He smiled

There was comfortable silence before he spoke up "soph, Noa, izabel, and saffie misses you alot." Dominik tells me "I miss them too." I said looking down "you'll see them again" he assured me.

"Do you want to take the kids over for dinner tonight, I can make you something?" Dominik suggested "you can cook?" I asked "I learned throughout the years" he laughed "sure, I'll take the kids." I said

"Well I better get going, I'll see you three later." He said standing up, I stood up as well and walked him over to the front door "drive safe." I smiled "thanks for lunch."

"Of course." I waved at him before closing the door.
